Enough

Chapter 2

Jade's POV

I woke up with a major headache. I got up slowly, pain going through my entire body. I got dressed in a black long sleeve shirt with red skulls everywhere, and black leggings. I walked down stairs and grabbed my backpack, not bothering to eat and put my skull shoes on and left.

Time skip (at school)

I walked to my first hour, Language, and sat down in the desk at the back. Everyone started to walk in and sit down. The only seat with no one in it was the one in front of me. As I waited for the class to start, I grabbed my iPhone and played Flappy Bird.

Ten minutes later the bell rang and I put my phone away. The teacher was taking attendance when someone can running in the classroom.

"Sorry I'm late I got lost." He said scratching the back of his head and out of breath.

He had long black hair with his bangs to the left covering his eye. His eye that could be seen was green and he had some eyeliner on. He had pale skin, like me and he was wearing a plain blue shirt with dark blue jeans.

"Don't worry but next time don't be late." The teacher said. "You should introduce yourself to the class."

"Oh uh yeah," he turned to the class,"I'm Ashton Stone and I'm the new kid please treat me well." He waved his hand and smiled at the class.

"Sorry but the only seat available is the one by 'her'." The teacher said pointing in my direction.

He looked over to me and smiled "great!"

I looked at him shocked as he walked to the desk. 'I wasn't expecting that' I thought to myself. He smiled at me and sat down.

The class was boring as usual but once in awhile I would see Ashton look over his shoulder at me. 'Why does he do that?' I asked myself getting a little aggravated.

The bell rang and I ran out the class to my locker.

Ashton's POV

As the bell rang I turned around so I could talk to the mysterious girl behind me but when I looked back she was already gone. I sighed and left the classroom to my locker. I was walking down the hall when I felt a strong arm push me against the lockers. I looked at the guy and there were three others behind him.

"Hey, you must be the new kid? Well first we should introduce ourselves. I'm Jack behind me is Mike, Dan, and Drake." Said the guy who was pinning me to the lockers. "Ok so now that the introductions are over time to tell you the rules here. We own this school so you can't fight back to anything we do and you're lucky because we 'love' emos." Jack said sarcastically.

He let go of me and said "I'll talk to you later."

I stayed there for a few seconds thinking about what just happened. The bell rang and I cursed myself and ran to my next class, Science.

Jade's POV

I'm having déjà vu. I was in Science when the guy Ashton came running in saying that he got lost AGAIN.

The teacher had an annoyed look but said "I'll only let you off today because you're new. Don't do it again and go sit down."

Once again the only seat was in front of me. 'Great' I thought 'this again?'

Ashton's POV

'Yes! I get to sit by the mysterious girl again. I'm really interested in her.' I thought sitting down.

I don't really like Science so I thought about what Jack said.

Flashback***

"We own this school so you can't fight back to anything we do and we 'love' emos.

End of flashback***

'I wonder what he meant by that.' I was still in my own world when I heard a book slam on my desk. I jumped and looked up to the Science teacher staring at me.

"Are you listening Mr. Stone?" He asked with a death stare.

"Oh u-um sorry" I laughed.

He hmmmed and went back to reading on the book. The rest of class went quickly and before I knew it the bell rung. I tried to talk to the girl behind me but she was gone once again. 'How does she leave so quickly?' I asked myself wondering even more about her.
