Baby, I know the story
I've seen the picture
It's written all over your face
Tell me, what's the secret that you've been hiding?
And who's gonna take my place?
I should have seen it coming
I should have read the signs
Anyway, I guess it's over

Can't believe that I'm a fool again
I thought this love would never end
How was I to know?
You never told me
Can't believe that I'm a fool again
And I who thought you were my friend
How was I to know?
You never told me

Do you ever have that feeling about something wrong with your boyfriend but you can't quite figure it out?

Luke Alvez and Una Gerrard had been a couple for some time. Although their work fields are quite opposed but seem like they enjoyed what they have. Luke can come home and tell her stories about his cases. And Una can come home telling about her sweet elderly in the nursing home where she worked. They are a happy couple. They were a happy couple.

It was their 3rd anniversary night. They were talking about this a few weeks ago, having dinner at the restaurant they first met. Una was already making the reservation, buying a new dress she knows he would like. They promised to meet here at 8 pm, which was 3 hours ago.

"Miss, would you like to order anything? We're closing soon." A waiter approached her with sympathy. Thinking her date ditched her. What a shame, she's a pretty lady, he thought.

She's looking at him, standing up, "I think I'll just leave. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you so much for your kindness." she said politely, nodded a little then left the restaurant. Her feet numb from sitting that long, so she decided to have a little walk around the city. This week is a holiday, so people have plenty of time to go on date nights. One thing she's thinking about her boyfriend's working days, that's why she chose tonight. But this morning he got a call and he needed to go. Promising he won't forget. And he did forget. Her dress flowed around her, and her heels kinda hurt her feet. She removed it and held it in her hand. People gave her another sympathetic look.

What a poor girl, walking barefoot, alone, on this lovely night.

Where is her man?

Why has she removed her heels?

That's one pretty dress.

Wonder what happened to her?

Does she just get dumped?

Whispers are heard but she doesn't care. She's too busy picking her broken heart. How could he forget? We've been talking about this a thousand times. And he didn't pick up his phone. Didn't reply to her text. Simply nothing. Heck, his phone is off, damnit! Then her phone rang, she picks it up.

"Una!"

"Jesse, what's up?"

"Tell me, did you cut your hair?" Jesse asked her in concern

"No," she said questioningly. "Besides we just met a few hours ago, how can I cut my hair this late?"

"Did you, some time, get possessed by a demon and buy the pink dress you always hate?" He ignores her explanation and continues asking questions. Which actually he didn't need to.

"Never! Jesse, what's wrong?" She's starting to get nervous.

"Do you, in any circumstances, somewhere around The Bistro downtown, like right now?"

"Jesse, I'm 20 blocks away from The Bistro! Tell me what happens and what the hell are you doing there? You have a night shift in 1 hour!" She stopped and sat down on a bench next to her. This Jesse sometimes always gets on her nerves, and she doesn't want to cover his shift tonight. "Tell me what happened right now!"
