10:53 PM"It's all over now. Give up while you still can," I said as I pinned Sharon's arms to the bed, denying her any forward mobility. I felt stronger then than I did a few minutes before but I still felt slightly tipsy at the same time and it was exhilarating.
"Okay, you win," she said, laughing.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear that," I replied, bending forward, giving her my ear. "Come again?"
"You win," she said. When I looked at her, she had a big grin on her face. Like a kid who just got her first scooter or bicycle and her parents allowed her to ride it around the block as much as she wanted. She had that child-like quality mixed in with youthful exuberance that was just a perfect combination.
"You're beautiful," I said. I don't know what made me keep saying it but it felt to me like it was set in stone. Like an unchanging quality. Something deserving of praise, deserving of the utmost acknowledgment.
"You keep saying that," she whispered, gazing into my eyes.
"Because you haven't stopped being beautiful," I responded.
"And if I do?" she asked.
"I don't think that's possible," I said.
She grabbed both sides of my collar with her hands and pulled hard, making me almost collapse completely on top of her. I had to resist to keep my arms firm on the mattress.
"Hey, what was that for?" I asked, bewildered.
"I'm trying to kiss you, you idiot. Now, come here," she said. She pulled again and I didn't resist a second time. She lifted her head and planted a kiss on my lips, gripping my collar even harder as she did so. I eased my body down gently on top of hers as I returned the kiss.
Her lips were warm and soft. She touched my face lightly with her fingers and it sent shivers down my spine. My skin broke out in goosebumps and I had to grip the bedspread to contain all of the excitement within myself.
"Now, this is crazy," I said, breaking away from the kiss momentarily.
"I know, right?" She asked as she kissed me again.
"I feel like a king," I said, for no reason as I broke the kiss up again.
"And the queen is politely asking that the king would stop talking," she said, kissing me yet again.
She spun me around gently until I fell with my back on the bed and she quickly climbed onto me. Her hair fell back over her shoulders and red dress as she looked at me in the way that she did, like something to be devoured. She descended slowly, taking her time with each movement. The lower she got, the more nervous I became.
I wanted to kiss her. A lot more than she wanted to kiss me.
"Well, the king doesn't like to wait," I said, wrapping one arm around the small of her back and, carefully but quite firmly, pulling her closer to me. She smiled and gave in, pressing her lips together as I kissed her and tossed her hair aside. I let my other hand explore the back of her thigh and heard her moan calmly.
I felt her breasts against my chest and something stirred down in my trousers. I felt embarrassed that she would feel it when she suddenly traced one finger down my chest, nicking at the buttons of my shirt without undoing them and snaking her hand down my pants without the slightest hitch. My breath caught in my throat.
"Oh, it seems the king is happy," she said, smiling and looking at me. Her face was so close to mine and she stared me down hard. I felt like prey. I had no chance against the likes of her. I would let her own me. Again and again. And again.
"If we keep talking about ourselves in the third person," I said, my voice just below a whisper, "I'm going to kill myself."
"I think the king can manage for a few more minutes," she said, claiming my lips one more time.

10:53 PMI had to be honest with myself: I liked Tinu. I did. I liked her and I couldn't tell her because I was too much of a wuss to do so. And besides, things were great the way they were. Why spoil everything by telling the one person you like that you like them? Why?
It seemed futile no matter how I looked at it. She was with Max and there was nothing I could do about that. Sure, I could go up to her and tell her how much like Satan he was but it wasn't going to do anything. Worst case scenario, it would probably only make her want him more. Which was counter-productive.
Hence, ('hence' is the best word to use when you're coming up with a master strategy) I had to come up with a plan. And the plan was simple.
Find out what his deal is.
So, I just had to wait. Maybe it was time for everyone to head to the swimming pool for a little skinny dipping. Although at least half of them were probably drunk and I didn't want anyone drowning. So, probably not a good idea at the moment.
I checked the time. 10:55. Time was on my side. All I had to do was wait it out and let the events develop at their own pace.
Just wait it out. Although waiting was something that didn't come easily to me anymore. How I longed to be back home. But for now, I was stuck here with no way back.
I pushed the thought from my mind. No use thinking about that.
I decided to go check on Sam and see how he was holding up.
