"Think about it!" Benny states as him, Ethan, and I walk down the hallway. "Anything we want. Cash. Cars. Candy."

"So you only use magic spells for stuff that starts with 'c'?" Ethan questions. I chuckle a little as he smiles at me.

Benny rolls his eyes and sighs, "Once we were lowly high school noobs- "

"Um... speak for yourself." I say interrupting Benny. He shakes his head and continues talking.

"Now we're vampire killing, spell-casting rock stars! The world is our oyster."

"Have you ever actually had oysters?" Ethan asks, "Not something you want to swallow - more like something you'd cough up."

"Ew." I say as I give Ethan a look.

"Yeah, ew. Nice image to start the day." Benny says as he focuses his attention away from us. "There's the image I need!" he says nodding towards Della, one of my longtime friends.

"Say Y/n, you wouldn't happen to be able to hook me up with a date with Della would you?" Benny asks focusing his attention on me.

"Sorry Benny, but I don't think she's really into you." I say patting his back.

"Keep the magic on the down low, remember?" Ethan says, "Life just got back to normal."

"Would you relax? I got this." Benny assured as he magically pulled out flowers from behind his back and started walking off towards Della. Leaving Ethan and I standing there alone.

"Hey Ethan?" I say turning to face him as Benny is flirting with Della.

"Yeah?" he asks turning his attention to me. "So last night I ha-," I start before getting interrupted by Sarah who walks over to us.

"Hey guys, can I talk to you?" she asks.

"Sure," I say.

"Can I borrow $20, friend? It's for a good cause"

"$20? Like now?" Ethan asks.

I hand her some cash as Della starts to cry on the other side of the hallway. Benny turns around to look at us and shrugs his shoulders.

"Awesome news," Benny exclaims as he walks back over to us. "Della's dog died!"

"And that's good news?" I ask.

"I gotta go. Later." Sarah says, thanking me for the money before walking off.

"Yeah I gotta get to class." I tell Ethan and Benny before walking off towards Della who's stopped crying.

"See?" Benny says pausing the computer. "Those crazy wrinkles are hiding something, I know it."

"Maybe you should just conjure up a bracelet for this girl?" Ethan suggests.

"Or, maybe you could just ask her out like a normal person?" I blurt out from my spot on Ethans bed. Benny turns around and sticks his tongue out at me and I roll my eyes looking back down at my book.

"Yeah. I mean, reanimating a dead dog is overkill."

"No, it's under-kill." Benny shoots back at Ethan. "'Cause the dog would be un-killed. Duh."

I shake my head again, not bothering to take my eyes off the pages.

"Hey guys." Mrs. Morgan says walking into Ethan's room. "Ethan, dinner's almost ready."

"What's that... aroma?" he asks.

"Did Jane melt one of her dolls again?" Benny asks. I see Mrs. Morgan's smile fade as I turn to shoot Benny a death stare.
