A/N: I love Red, White & Royal Blue but one thing that bugs me is that Alex never tells Henry about the J14. So, here's that happening.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So excited to have you both on the show tonight, guys. I mean it's really an honor to have you. A real life Prince and the son of the most powerful woman in our country and you're here to tell us about how you fell in love. I mean is there anything more romantic than a real life fairytale?" Jimmy Fallon say after they shake his hand and get settled on the couch next to his desk. Alex doesn't really want to be here, talking about his relationship with Henry. Since the emails leaked, he can't help but to feel like he's given the world enough of his relationship. Enough to last a lifetime. But the shelter needs donors. Those kids need Henry and Alex. So here he is telling their story. But he doesn't have to be nice about it, he reasons.
"Jimmy we're excited to be here too, and not just because it's an excellent time to talk to your viewers about ways they can donate to LGBTQIA youth shelters across the country." Alex says flashing his most winning smile. "Although I can't help but to notice you've introduced me as the son of the most powerful woman in the country," he can't help but snark, "when I'm sure you meant most powerful person in the country." He sees June smirk from the front row and it's all he can to maintain his angelic smile.
"Oh, I--, I mean of course that's what I meant," Jimmy manages to stammer out, looking very flustered. "I would never want to offend the most powerful person in the country. Seems like that would be a good way for the Secret Service to suddenly know my name," he jokes. "Since you clearly have a one track mind Alex, why don't you and Henry give us your pitch first so we can get that out of the way and get into the gooey details of how you too got together."
And they do. As much as Alex does not want to be here, he can't deny that listening to Henry talk about the shelters stirs something up inside him. It's not just that it's so passionate (and sexy) but also because he's so proud of him. Henry did it. He chose Alex. He chose happiness. He chose to take the hard path and now he's fighting for other people to be able to do the same. If Alex wasn't already completely and disgustingly in love with Henry, just watching him right now would be enough to make him fall. He imagines all of the kids at home watching Henry and imagines what this must mean for them. God, he's so in love he could die.
But eventually, of course, the other shoe drops. The price of this night is the details of their relationship. They decided earlier that they would be completely honest when answering and not hide behind the fake friendship story they had previously sold. So when Jimmy says "Okay, so I've gotta know. What happened at the Royal Wedding? How did you two end up in that cake? Were you together at that point?" Alex doesn't hesitate to say "No, weren't together."
"What happened was that I was being 'a royal pratt'" Alex says mimicking Henry's accent, "because I absolutely hated his guts and Henry gave me a light shove. I lost my balance and well, the rest is history." Alex beams, feeling incredibly smug, and loses it laughing as everyone's jaws drop.
"You-, you- hated him?" Jimmy sputters. "But i thought you two were friends!"
"Absolutely not," Alex grins. "We did become friends after that, though."
"What about you, Prince Henry? Did you hate Alex as well?"
Henry laughs. "No, our rivalry was decidedly one sided. I, of course, was completely in love with him at the time."
Jimmy's jaw dropped even further, if thats even possible. "So why-, why- did you push him into the cake?" Jimmy may never recover his composure.
"I think anyone who knows Alex will agree that it is a testament to my patience that I didn't push him into a cake sooner."
