Kind had thought it wise to give Cherry and Wale their own privacy. He had promised himself to never get between their affairs again. He was relieved Cherry had agreed to move back in with Wale, hopefully after this trip, he wasn't planning to see them afterwards. He just wanted to return to Todo. He couldn't imagine why his girlfriend had agreed for him to come here despite knowing his feelings towards Wale. Todo obviously felt threatened by Wale however, before their departure here, she'd assured her his loyalty.

By the time Kind returned to the villa, it was already dark. Cherry and him had arrived here in the evening, they hadn't had lunch yet. Though he didn't have much of an appetite, he never wanted to sleep without dinner too. He found a desolate Wale sitting alone. Kind had many things to ask her but didn't want to be bothered by her. He hated that after some time of not seeing her, she still made him shiver with longing. "Where is the kitchen? I'm famished."

Wale had been deep in thought she barely noticed Kind's presence. Pointing at the dining area, she informed Kind the food had been ready for sometime and that Cherry and her had had their share already. "It has been a long day and I feel unable to welcome you properly so forgive me if I can't keep you company while you dine. I have to retire early." Wale said and walked away heading upstairs. Kind watched her wondering what had gotten the nonchalant Wale aloof all of a sudden for always smiled even when in great pain, so something must have happened between him and Cherry. Brushing his thoughts away, he happily enjoyed his meal, thankful that Wale was a great cook.

Finally it was time to sleep. Wale had forgotten to show him where he'd sleep so Kind figured he'd take any room upstairs, after all, the villa looked like it had about five doors up there. He could hear Cherry's voice in one of the rooms and figured Wale must be inside with him. Walking to the furthest room, he reached for the knob and got inside, surprised to find the lights on. The room was quite tiny but he didn't care. All he wanted was a bed to lay his head. Within minutes, he was fast asleep.

He awoke in the middle of night sweating all over. Thank goodness it had been a nightmare. In his dream, Wale was found drowned in the ocean and he had been called to identify her but had refused. After that, he'd see Wale everywhere. Todo would be speaking to him and suddenly he'd see Wale. It suddenly hit him he had left the lights on before going to bed. "What a strange dream," he mumbled and went back to sleep without switching off the lights.

He woke up to the sound of a car horn, he almost thought he was back to his home, his sanctuary. Looking at the sun rays entering his room through the opened curtain, he smiled at the thought of how fatigued he had been. He'd slept very well after the nightmare and as he stretched his arms to relax his muscles, he remembered he'd not taken a shower before bed. "Better find Wale before the car leaves," he mumbled as he got out of bed.

The villa was quiet enough to hear the sound of birds chirping outside. It felt great and he was tempted to enjoy his stay much longer but figured the car outside was probably for him to leave this place before Cherry.  After all, he was to stay here for a day. Kind spotted Wale walking and started taking the stairs.

"Good morning K. I hope you had a lovely night?" Wale's smile was back though she seemed tired from the dark circles under his eyes. Kind acknowledged her greeting then asked after the bathroom. "Sorry I forgot to show you your room yesterday. The last room where you slept is for the help and the bathroom is right next to it. All the other three rooms have bathrooms in them so you may use the second room," Wale replied as she took the stairs then pointed at the room Kind was to take. "I had your pajamas ready and everything else, its such a waste you didn't sleep there though. I didn't want to wake you in the night since you were sleeping so soundly."

Kind took a few steps back to keep his distance from Wale then thanked her and got into his presumed room. After an enjoyable shower, he felt refreshed. Additionally, Wale had prepared a change of clothes for him too. She always paid attention to the smallest of details. When he got back downstairs, he asked her about the car he had heard outside. "Oh, I was hoping you hadn't heard that. That was Cherry leaving. He said he didn't want to be here any longer...that it was too hot."
