"There you both are!" Emily exclaimed when she saw Victor and I heading her way. "I've been looking all over for you two, where in the living dead did you run off to?" Emily asked. "We got lost" I responded. "Stay close you two" she said while linking her arm with victors. I walked slowly behind them both and followed to where they headed. I walked with way too much patience I had lost them for a moment, but I then seen them sitting on a bench, speaking. I walked towards them but kept a distance as I couldn't help but listen on to what they were saying.

"Look.. I am terribly sorry for what's happened to you and I would like to help but I really need to get home" Victor spoke out.  "This is your home now" Emily responded without a thought. "But I don't even know your name" Victor pointed out. I seen Emily's face go from annoyed to a smile as she said muttered something and then said "it's Emily". "Emily.." Victor repeated.  Emily quickly spoke out, "Oh I almost forgot I have something for you" she pulled out a red gift box with yellow ribbon keeping it together tied into a bow. "It's a wedding present" she said.

Victor opened the box nervously and pulled out...a bone? I couldn't hear anything else but I seen him close the box, but it started shaking violently and fell to the floor causing all its contents to fall out. It was bones and a collar. The bones all shook and pulled together to form..."A dog?" I whispered with confusion.
I seen Victor grab the collar. "Scraps?..Oh Scraps!" Victor said confused at first then with realization and happiness. I watched as the dog leaped into victors arms, he looked so happy. Both him and Emily had a smile their face. I no longer wanted to watch as I didn't want to see Victor smiling or happy with another woman.. So I diverted my attention to Scraps.

"Oh my, Scraps..." I spoke out with a small smile
Forming. The small dog came rushing towards me as soon as I had spoke out his name. I quickly opened my arms ready for him as I seen him. "what a good boy you are scraps! Who's my good boy? You are, oh my sweet pup, How much I've missed you" I said while bending down and smothering him in love. "He still remembers you I see" victor spoke. I looked up
For a brief moment and looked back at scraps, "Of course he does" I looked up. "You know scraps?" Emol asked, sounding a bit off. "Yes, I used play with him whenever my parents took us to the Vandort home, it's how I met Victor" I responded.

Flash back
9 years old

I was so wandering the halls since mother and father were speaking to the adults. I wonder what there is to do here, So boring. *BARK* "What the..A DOG!" I shouted as I seen a small dog running towards me. I happily accepted the dog with open arms as it jumped to me and started licking me. I giggled and laughed with each lick. "Scraps No! Get off of her!" I heard a voice speak out. "Not it's alright! He's just being kind" I said. I look away from dog, and I seen a boy who looked my age. "What's your name?" I asked urgently. "My name is Victor, What about yours?" Victor responded while grabbing his dog. "Hello Victor! My name is y/n! What this good boys name?" I said while petting his dog. "Pretty..." Victor muttered while
Staring at me. "What's his name?!" I asked again. "Oh! Uh... Victor?" Victor said mindlessly. "Your dogs name dummy!" I said with a giggle. "Oh! Sc-Scraps! His name is scraps" he shouted. "Hello scraps, what a sweet boy you are" I said.

Done

"Yes, I remember that day" Victor said quietly with a smile. I got up and picked up Scraps.
"He hasn't changed one bit, how much I've missed him dearly" I said while kissing Scraps bony thick skull. Victor pressed his hand on my shoulder and his other onto  Scraps, "How much we have missed him
Dearly" Victor spoke. I looked up at him, seeing him only glimpse at me while solely focusing on Scraps in my arms. 'If only it were just us two, My love'  I thought to myself.
