As the title of this chapter says, hi everybody! It's so weird to be back. I haven't truly been on Wattpad for going on 4 years now, and it's so wild to see how much things have changed.
To start with, this little book that I started writing in high school has continued to be read. Thank you all for reading, voting, and commenting! Because of this strange time that we are all in, many of us being limited to our homes, I decided to go back and reread this book that I wrote in what feels like so long ago.
And now I'm here to edit it. Looking back, I feel as though there's so much more of Francine and Earl's story that can be expanded upon, and honestly, I miss these characters. It's funny to think that, at the time when I originally wrote this story, these characters were older than me. Now, I'm older than them :')
So, expect some edits and new chapters to come through! I want to expand on their plan, delve more into the character's relationships with each other, and just give a more nuanced perspective to the topic of gender identity and self-worth than I think I did back in 2015/2016. Also, if you have any criticisms/critiques or anything else you'd love to see added/expanded on in the story, please leave a comment here. Just from going back through the first four chapters, I've already added quite a bit (especially to Earl's sections, his parts are so short compared to Francine's lol).
Again, thank you all for reading, and expect more soon!
