Mazie was a good fighter, a bit clumsy , but good. She wasn't afraid of me, or of the sword. If this had been a real battle I'm pretty sure she would have killed me by now or at least I would have been seriously injured.
"Jaegar!" The teacher shouted to me as the lesson came to a finish.
I walked to her slowly until I noticed Mazie was there too, for some reason this made me speed up.
"Now then, as you are new to the town you will need someone to show you around." She paused. "This person shall be Mazie." She squealed, the teacher - not Mazie.
Both Mazie and Iooked very confused.
"Me!" She groaned, which made me feel VERY wanted. Although I wasn't very sure about it myself.
"Yes, you!" The teacher said with a hint of anger in her voice.
"BUT, Miss I don't think I'll have time!" We said in unison.
"Children, Children. Calm down, I have contacted the rest of your tutors for today and you have been excused from your classes. Mazie I expect you show Jaegar around properly, you may not return home until 5 o'clock."
I wasn't too pleased I had another sword fighting lesson this afternoon, Mazie seemed to be thinking along the same line.
But instead of arguing anymore we headed out into the town.
I tried my hardest to make conversation but all of my attempts failed.
"Jaegar, you can go home if you want." She said breaking the awkward silence.
"But, it's not yet 5." I muttered under my breath but she heard.
"Okay, where do you want to go?" She said stopping in her tracks and turning to face me.
"The bakery!" I said at once.
She began to look upset.
"It's shut." She whispered.
"Whyever is that? It's only half past one!" I was extremely confused and expected her to say something like it's Wednesday. But no.
"War." She croaked.
I didn't understand.
"It's not here." I exclaimed - refering to the war.
"They think it will come tonight, they think the forces invade tonight." She cried, sitting down on a park bench.
I had fled from the war once already, the war between elves and humans had come to Fell where both of my brothers were killed. I'd come here and the war had followed.

A few people have asked how to know who's point of view the chapter has been in. The chapter will say!
Also a few people have been confused about the characters and wether they know eachother ect.
Cammie and Jack know eachother and live in the human world - earth.
Mazie and Jaegar (pronounced with a J not a Y) know eachother and live in the elven world. They are both elves.
There is a war going on between the Elves and the humans. Mazie and Jaegar know about it however Cammie and Jack don't. YET.
If you don't read the Authors note then you won't know any of this info!!! Your own fault really. Hehe.
