Chapter 6

So I actually managed to get her alone. My mate. My beautiful mate. She looks so adorable. Her head is tilt to the side making her hair fall slightly on her face giving her the look of an angel.

"What do you want to say?" she asked, confused.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not. I still don't know what to say to her. Do I tell her right away that I'm a wolf? Oh men, this is the trouble of having a human mate but it doesn't mean that I love her less.

'Just tell her already!!'my wolf growled out to me.

'Chill out okay?! What if because of this she'll reject us huh?' I growled back.

I heard him whimper about that thought of our mate rejecting us. D*mn! Even I admit I'll never live when I'll lose her.

'I need my mate!' my wolf whimpered.

This is the first time I heard my wolf like this, so weak and vulnerable. Usually he's an arrogant, prideful, strong and frightening wolf.

I let out a big sigh and look at her straight in the eyes. This is it! I can do this! It's now or never.

"I'm gonna say something to you." I said slowly and carefully. She's human so I have to be gentle.

She looks more confuse now and there's a hint of curiousity. But then she suddenly breaks the eye contact and looks down. I notice that she's playing with the hem of her shirt. Then she look back up to me. A hint of fear are in her eyes.

"Did I do something wrong? Are you angry at me?" she asked in a low voice. I could even hear that her voice crack a bit while she's asking.

Unshed tears are now present on her beautiful eyes and she bite her lower lip maybe stopping it for trembling.

            I frantically shook my head.

"No! It's not like that! Please don't cry..." I said. Then slowly, I cupped her face with both my hands. Gently, I wiped the stray tears that fall using my thumb. Her skin is so soft. "It hurts to see you cry."
