            Well, this is awkward. I looked between Luke and Dom sitting on the sofa facing each other. I would have laughed if this is any normal circumstance but sadly this is not normal.

            "Aria."  Dom called my attention.

            "Yes dad?" I answered.

            "Will you be a dear and tell me who this fella here and what happened earlier?" he said gently while one of his cocking his eyebrow. But, unfortunately, I know better.

            Sigh. What I would do to have an ignorant existence right about now.

            I played with my hands and shifted on my seat, appearing to be uncomfortable and embarrassed. I willed myself to blush a little, which is a bit hard. After this, I will definitely audition as an actress, seriously!

            "Uhm...this is Luke. Luke, this is my dad." I whispered then bit my bottom lip.

            "Sir, I apologize for my behavior earlier." Luke said.

            When I looked his way, he catches my eyes and smile warmly at me. He thought he's saving me from being in the hot seat.

            "Hmm..." Dom regarded him. "So you're the Luke that Keith had been saying to me."

            O-kay. I raised one of my eyebrows at that. How come I didn't know that?

            "What did he said about me?" Luke asked.

            "That you're the heartthrob of the school and you sleep with women like there was no tomorrow and just left them with broken hearts." Dom deadpanned.

            Well, I DID hear about that rumor, so I directed my stare to Luke who looked guilty. I don't know why but my temper rose and I feel betrayed. This was wrong, WAY wrong. I shouldn't be feeling this way. I am not his mate for crying out loud!

            But then again he's so adamant about us being mate. Did I unconsciously accept it? No! Definitely NO! Seriously! Aria Hale, you're crazy for thinking this way. He’s just confusing that's all. He's REAL mate is out there waiting for him.

            Why does that last thought left a bitter taste in my mouth? I can't be...can I? Certainly the moon goddess won't do some crazy things like this right? She can't...I--

            I was cut off from my mental discussion, more like denial, when I heard someone called my name. I looked up and saw Luke kneeling in front of me. Worry evident in his expression. I looked around and behind him, but couldn't find Dom.
