Sa gitna ng maingay na dance floor sa single nights party ng Chicly Fab magazine, nakuha pang mag-isip ni Pinky tungkol sa assignment na ibinigay sa kanya ni Ms. Melai, ang editor-in-chief nila para sa next issue na release for August.

Two years na siya sa Chicly Fab bilang section editor. Her area covers stories all about love. Before she left the office, Ms. Melai wants for her section to write something about love syndromes of men, women and gay people of all ages. She entered some inputs of the ideas she thought of on her table, until Serena butt in.

"Is this a party or what?" umupo ito sa katabing stool niya sa harap ng bar na puwesto niya.

"Are you getting bored?" she asked without looking at her. Still busy putting some entries.

"I mean, hello! This is a party not a workplace. Bakit ba subsob ka d'yan? Is Neil coming over?" She is referring to her fiancé.

"Nope," she closed the gadget and gave her full attention to Serena. "Why are you getting really bored? The music is good, the place is awesome and there are tons of cute guys anywhere. Wala ka bang matipuhan sa kanila? Correction pala, hindi na ba nila type ang kagaya mo?" she giggles.

Who can't like Serena Del Castillo? The object of men's affection. Girls and gays hated her enchanting beauty. Na para bang may magnet ang personalidad nito na kayang gustuhin ng sinumang kaharap. Her best friend blossom into a very gorgeous lady. She's bubbly, candid and witty. She's tall with all the curves of Solenn Heusaff. Her socialite friend did not used her beauty to earn money. Sa dami ng modeling jobs at offer sa showbiz ay lahat tinanggihan nito. Mas ginusto pa nito ang i-pursue ang talent sa painting.

Dahil sabay silang lumaki, dumating rin ang pagkakataon na nainggit siya sa physical attributes nito. She was the ugly duckling when they were kids. Madalas nga siyang tuksuhin na ulikba dahil maitim daw siya. Until she found out that she's not that dark. Typical Filipina color as they say. Nang magdalaga ay biglang humabol ang pagtangkad niya. Due to the insecurities she had when they were used to be compared by almost all people who knows them, naging conscious siya sa kanyang sarili. She worked hard to be beautiful by taking care of her skin, her hair, all of her.

She loved her best friend so much. Si Serena ang naging tagapagtanggol
niya sa mga umaapi sa kanya noon sa school lalo pa nang lumipat na rin ito sa St. Bridgette. Ito rin ang madalas na nagpapatawa sa kanya especially noong mga panahong ayaw na niyang tapusin ang freshmen high school. Anuman ang mangyari, her loyalty always ends up with Serena. She always supports her. Thank God at never nilang naging problema ang boys because they have different taste in guys. She likes more of mestisos like her fiance Neil while Serena likes the kayumanggi guys. Anuman ang laban nito ay laban rin niya.

"Why on earth? Of all places, dumarami na ang mga bading sa henerasyong ito. They could have cultivated on Mars and stay there forever. Right now, every corner of this place, I see all kinds of them," himutok nito.

"Hanggang ngayon pala ay nagsisintemyento ka pa rin sa ginawa ng ex-boyfriend mong si Bernard sa umaga at Bernadette sa gabi. Dalawang linggo na ang nagdaan. Hurting ka pa rin?"

"Two years Pinky. Two years niya akong pinaniwala na lalaki siya. Minahal ko siya, inasikaso, nilambing tapos isang gabi magugulat ka na lang na kalat sa internet ang pictures nila ng commercial model na iyon on a very intimate pose. That's supernova to me!"

"Serena, I expected you to be okay by now. Hindi mo na dapat pinag-aaksayahan ng oras ang pagdadalamhati sa nangyari sa inyo. Move forward girl. Baka nga sa mga oras na ito ay nagpapakasaya si Bernie at ang boyfriend niya."

Tumahimik ito at itinuon ang tingin sa crowd ng dance floor. Panahon na para gisingin niya ang kaibigan sa mga kahibangan nito sa ex-boyfriend. "Tingnan mo iyong guy na iyon wearing that skimpy top at nagwawala sa song ni Rihanna, I'm sure he's gay."
