After it all

Chapter 6

(Luke's Pov)

"Aw Luke this is amazing!" Ashely said as soon as we got to our date. I smiled at her. It wasn't much, just a picnic blanket, with food in a field at the local park. We sat down and started eating. Ashely was talking to me about something that I forget now because I was just staring at her, the way her lips moved, how her eyes looked bright and happy, how she had this huge smile on her face. Then suddenly I saw someone in the background. Someone I hoped to never see again.

"Oh Luke!" Clarissa said cutting Ashely off of what she was saying.

"Thanks for inviting me to this picnic" she smirked. " I knew you never got over how amazing I am" She looked over at Ashely, disgust written all over her face.

"What are you doing here with this fat-ass" She said then fake gagged. Ashely just looked at me, eyes filled with many different emotions. I wanted to say something. I opened my mouth, trying to form words, but nothing came out.

" Well Luke, I guess nothing last forever and nothing stays the same" Ashely said quoting one of our songs and getting up and walking away. I quickly tried to get up and follow her but Clarissa pulled me back down.

"Oh Lukey. I've missed you so much" She giggled, her giggle was way to high pitched, Ashely's was perfect.

"Get. Away. From. Me" I growled. Finally able to talk

"Ooh playing hard to get are we?" She smirked crawling towards me.

"No! Ashely is my Fiancé! Get away from me!" I yelled getting up and running the way Ashely went.
