Ava sat up from her bed, She yawned and stretched her arms up. "Oh right, Its Tuesday" She checked her phone then got ready for school, She put her tambourine in her bag and she walked out to head to school

She went to the entrance of the school and noticed Jake and his friends were near the entrance. This was going to be hard to avoid, I mean Jake probably thought they were friends and would stop them, Hopefully that happened. Ava stood a deep breath then started to walk "Hey, How's life with Broccoli hair?" Ava let out a deep sigh "Incase you havent noticed Henry, You also have green hair" Ava responded but her eyes widened realising she spoke back again "OoOoO, Atleast i have fashion sense, Your outfit looks like something a 5 year old would wear" Henry snapped back "Guys— Just leave her" Jake interrupted and Ava mouthed 'Thank you' then walked away.
She started to walk to her locker, Once she got there she took her timetable out seeing there was science and walked to the classroom

She walked out the class, It was terrible because she was forced with Zoey to do it and only received rude names "Okay, Free period then rehearsals.." She started to walk to class remembering Zoey's insults but tried to get them out her head
She ended up going to the library for a while and read through a few chapters of a book and once it was time she headed to rehearsals "Hell-" She started to greet but paused walking inside and sitting down on a chair "Im guessing im early?" She said to herself but got a message from Hailey saying "Rehearsals are at lunch instead of break!" Ava sighed and walked back to the library but on her way there she heard Lia and Zoey speaking "She's so weird, Why were you even paired with her?" Lia asked "Its that's stupid teacher, Nobody in their right mind would want to be near that freak!" Zoey scoffed. Ava's eyes widened and she ran to the back corner of the library

-Jakes POV-
I walked in the library and watched Ava running, I didn't exactly know why but i knew I needed to see what was up so i started to run after her ending up in the corner of the library with her curled in a ball

-Ava 3rd person POV-
She wiped her tears and looked up seeing Jake almost out of breathe, She assumed caused from chasing her "W-What do you want.." She sobbed lightly "Whats wrong?" Jake asked ignoring her question and kneeling infront of her "I just—Forgot my homework" She said making an excuse quick, Jake looked upset "Ava, i know this isnt just forgetting your homework."

"I heard Zoey and Lia talking about me, They called me a freak and that nobody would want to be near me" She said revealing what actually happened curling herself tightly making Jake pat her shoulder to comfort her "Ava, Im really sorry but—Why are you crying when Zoey did it but not when Drew does it?" Jake asked genuinely "Me and Zoey were friends, Till she met Drew now all she does is bully me.."
Seems like a part of me will always have to lose Every single time I have to choose Swore that it felt right, but was I wrong? Is this where I'm supposed to be at all?

She looked at Jake, having dried tears on her face "Look, I'll talk to them. I'll get them to stop" Jake smiled and Ava smiled back and hugged him happy he was helping her "Thank you, Jake.." She smiled, Jake didnt know what to do but hugged back "Its no problem, Ava" He said and walked away. Ava decided she couldnt stay there forever and walked away to get to class.
**At lunch**
Ava started to eat her lunch in the back table, The club was probably setting up for rehearsals so she had to be fast, Once she finished she put the tray away and ran to rehearsals

Ava walked out the club's room and looked through her locker to bring things home, Jake walked up and she turned around bumping into him. "Oh— Hello Jake" She smiled and stepped back giving him space "Hey, So i spoke to Zoey and Lia and im pretty sure they're gonna leave you alone" He said the news about the bullying deal, "Wow, You actually did it" Ava said shocked "Did you really expect me to let them bully my friend?" Jake asked sarcastically making Ava laugh a little "I didnt expect us to be friends so fast honestly" She looked to Jake, "Im glad we are friends now" She continued her sentence and walked out the school.
