Ep5, A drummers confession

"Y-You can sing? Since when?" Ava turned her head to see Jake was watching Hailey sing "What kind of stupid question is that? She's always been able to sing" Zander answered Jake's question "I did tell you, Jake. Hailey can do anything when it comes to music. Pretty impressive right?" Sean asked making Hailey blush "Guys, Stop. Im really not that great" Hailey begged "No you are! I had no idea you could sing like that. Your amazing at it" Jake said stopping Hailey's modesty "You didnt think you were the only one who could sing, Did you Jake?" Milly asked sarcastically "N-No!" Jake quickly replied "Well, Cant blame you we barely hear her sing in the first place. Anyways Luke i cant believe how good you are for your first song!" Ava turned and complimented the boy "Thank you Ava, Im pretty proud of it myself" Luke thanked her 

"Sorry i wasn't here to sing it for you.." Jake apologised to him "Thats alright, Its a good thing we have two amazing singers in the club, ey?" Luke smiled "Yeah" Jake agreed "Speaking of which where were you exactly? I believe this is the fourth time in a row you've arrived late, Jake.." Hailey raised an eyebrow at Jakes lateness and thought up an excuse till the bell went "Guess we'll be practicing our performance skills another day then" Hailey sighed "Ugh, Math. Anyone feel like skipping?" Milly asked "Dont even think about miss!" Sean threatened and the five walked out splitting up at their lockers

Ava had gym class as the last along with everyone else in her class, She couldnt be bothered to join in and sat at the side watching the whole lesson "Hey dorks," Hailey greeted walking over to them "Watcha reading?" She asked Zander "A book." Zander answered in his regular monotone voice "Ha ha, Very funny" Hailey sat down next to her step brother. The girls started cheering for the boys that they had crushes on, Lia and Zoey being the loudest with Zoey cheering for Drew and Lia cheering for Jake.

Zander merely rolled his eyes but heard a girl cheering for Luke, "Would you look at him?" Ava complained "Huh?" Zander snapped back into the real world "Jake. He's getting so cocky about his fans. I cant bear watching him" Ava continued complaining about his cockiness "You say that, But you cant keep your eyes off him" Zander turned to the girl making fun of her staring at him "I- Y-You're delusional!" Ava fought back stuttering "Atleast Luke doesnt get cocky from the attention he gets" She remarked "Luke? What do you mean" Zander asked "Girls are getting crazy over him recently, Some are even saying how good looking he is" She looked up to Zander from the grass "So..Are we going to talk about it?" Hailey asked "I have no idea what your talking about" Zander continued reading

"Y'know the love song? The one that Luke wanted me to sing today" Hailey reminded "And what of it?" Zander got angry "Zander, Quit the act already! I know you care the most out of everyone" Hailey got mad back. Ava felt it wasnt her place to get involved and walked away to continue watching from a different place. Zander must of been right she couldnt keep her eyes off Jake but shook herself into reality and watched the girls playing baseball.

Ava closed her locker and stood beside Sean and Hailey as they were talking about the track some more. Zander and Luke looked upset "Thank god the day is over" Milly slammed her locker shut "Math was a drag huh?" Sean asked "It always is.." Milly groaned tiredly "Oh, By the way i was thinking of having band rehearsals at my place next weekend. Would you guys be down?" Hailey asked everyone "Sure" "I certainly would be!" "Sounds good" the three agreed infront of her "Uh, Yeah i should be free.." Luke finally responded looking upset again "Hey, Uh. Did those two get into a fight, or something?" Sean and Milly came close to them "Not exactly.. lets just say they have... tension they need to resolve." Hailey shrugged and the two looked at them knowing what 'tension' meant "Er, Hey Zand-" Luke started trying to confess till Stacy fell over. Ava looked away not deciding to listen in

"Hey dorks!" Drew insulted the group as he walked closer "How's life in freak town?" The four looked mad as Zander searched his locker to ignore Drew "Pretty nice without you idiots" Ava fought back looking away. Henry said something to Jake Ava couldnt hear "Didnt you learn your lesson the last time i beat you to a pulp?!" Milly threatened Henry "Hey! Slow down little lady. We're not here to fight! I just wanna know if your looking after our Jakey boy~ its seems he's become quite attached to you. Maybe we should hang out more so we know what kind of freaks he likes" He finished the speech still insulting the club but Zander slammed the locker "Actually Drew, No one asked, And no one cares. Im really not in the mood for your bullcrap today" Zander fought back for the club 

"Why dont you run along and get yourself a little, cute outfit with daddy's credit card? Hm?" Zander continued getting mad at Drew "Woo-ah, Do you always get this cranky without your boyfriend?" Liam said watching the approval of Henry and Drew's laughter "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Zander yelled at Liam "Oh, touchy subject i see," Drew was about to start his speech till the three of them stood infront standing beside Zander as Ava kept in the back "Why dont you boys run along, Before somebody gets hurt" and with Seans words Milly cracked her knuckles "Hey guys, Lets just go. You wanted to show us that new drone you bought right, Drew?" Jake asked Drew hoping they'd walk away 

Drew sighed and walked away with the group, Jake quickly apologising for them 

"Tch, Idiots" Milly crossed her arms and turned to Zander "Hey, You okay?" Hailey walked over to be closer to her brother "Zander, Dont listen to those idiots" Ava said comforting him "Im not! I couldnt give a damn!" Zander said defending himself "Hey man, If you need alone time, Then we understand but remember we're here if you wanna talk" Sean said comfortingly being the big brother of the group "Is this about Luke.." Hailey asked "What do you think?!" Zander almost burst into tears and sighed

 "Im such an awful friend. Luke is so kind, He never puts himself first. He's always looking out for others, I just end up pushing him away thinking selfish things..He probably hates me.." Zander put his hand on his arm being more sadder then before "He couldnt hate you Zander! He adores you!" Ava put her hand on her heart "He's so obviously in love with you." Milly rolled her eyes playfully "Dont be ridiculous. Theres no way he could like someone like me" Zander doubted Milly's response "Oh my god, just look on his face when he's around you everyday is enough proof!" Milly chuckled lightly saying the proof Luke loved Zander "Zander you should tell him how you really feel he needs to hear it, if things are ever going to get better between you both" Hailey asked in a way

"I-i cant i cant risk our friendship" Zander stammered "Zander, You should know him better then that you really think he'd let this ruin your relationship?" Sean smiled being a big brother again "Oh, Damn it all i'll do it!" Zander said defeated and walked off "Wait, Now?!" Hailey looked shocked "ITS NOW OR NEVER" Zander replied "GO GET EM ZANDER," Milly cheered

Ava watched Zander running off and Luke chasing, The group decided to follow and Milly dragged Jake along

They all hid behind a bush, barely able to hear them talking as Luke edged closer to Zander Ava hoping they'd kiss. Ava poked her head up for a while before being pushed down by Jake but finally Luke kissed Zander making Ava mentally scream out of happiness "Ow, That was my foot!" Sean whispered "Sorry— Its Ava she keeps shoving me" Jake apologised blaming it on Ava "Milly's pushing me!" Ava whispered to the two "Not my fault your butts so big!" Milly said annoyed being the blame "Would you four shut up?" Hailey asked "Is the coast clear?" Jake asked poking his head up till they all done the same "Ladies and gentlemen, The ship has officially set sail!" Sean announced coming out the bush with Hailey "Woohooo!" Milly cheered "Finally!" Ava said walking out with Jake and Milly "About time!" Hailey was near tears after the confession "Woah, Are you crying?" Jake looked surprised at Hailey's emotionalness "Im just really happy for them" Hailey wiped her tears away "It took so long for that" Ava stretched her arms to the side after sitting down for ages

"Maybe we can get through rehearsals without Zander being grouchy all the time now that he has himself a boyfriend" Jake smiled at Milly's wish "Yeah, I can only hope so" Jake sighed "Oh! That reminds me would you be able to come to mines for rehearsals this weekend?" Hailey asked "Oh uh, Yeah i can make it" Jake agreed "So, Milly when do we expect your confession to Elliot?" Ava teased Milly making her blush a little "Shut up Ava! Get back here!" Ava started running from Milly laughing "Save mee!" She laughed as Sean and Hailey began chasing Milly. Jake smiled a little and chased the girl aswell
