The others apart from Milly and Ava (since their instruments didnt fit the song.) were performing infront of Daisy as practice of some sort for infront of an audience, It wasnt their official competition song but Hailey thought it should be a surprise to Daisy. When Jake finished Daisy clapped "Absolutely wonderful Jake! Your voice is just as beautiful as I remember" She held her hands to her heart looking proud "Oh- Uh- Thank you Daisy. Im glad your here—I mean that you enjoyed" Jake stuttered "You all must be so excited for the band competition. You're all so talented!" Daisy complimented everyone "Aw, Thanks Daisy" Hailey thanked the girl
"What can i say? It comes naturally to some of us" Zander put his left hand on his hip "Woah..Did your head just get bigger?!" Ava asked sarcastically "Your one to talk" Zander rolled his eyes at her making Daisy laugh a little "Well thank you for letting me listen, I wont interrupt you guys any longer. My parents are waiting to take me to dance rehearsals" Daisy apologised for interrupting them even though it wasnt a problem. "You do dance?" Ava asked "You really got your plate full, Huh?" Sean asked "Indeed..Well i should really get going! Goodbye guys!" Daisy waved to them and walked out "That girl really is the epitome of cute" Hailey looked at the place where Daisy used to stand
"Yeah.." "Yeah.."
Sean and Jake blushed in unison earning a confused face from Ava "I bet your pleased Jake, Singing a lOvE song to the girl your head over heels in love with—" Jake ran over and stopped Milly from saying more but he wasnt fast enough "Oh you traitor!" Jake complained At Milly "Ooh~ Is someone in love?~" Zander asked jokingly "N-no!" "Yes!" Jake and Milly argued in unison "I wouldnt say in love..but i have really liked her for a long time now" Jake blushed "Aw, Jakes blushing~" Ava teased
"Thats very cute just dont get too distracted Jake, I dont want a girl to be the reason your not performing your best on the day of the competition" Hailey reminded Jake "Thats not gonna happen" Jake reminded her back "All right then well good work today everyone. We'll have rehearsals again at lunch time tomorrow. And remember Jake 12:30 on the dot." Hailey told everyone and Ava grabbed her bag then walked out the room

The next day Ava was working in science with Hailey, They were actually doing a great job much to her surprise. Ava ended up on the side closer to Jake. Luke seemed quite upset so Ava made plans to talk to him at lunch about Zander "Psst, Ava" Jake whispered to her "what?" She whispered back "I cant help but notice that Luke is looking pretty upset today, He told me something about a crush. You wouldnt happen to know who it is, Do you?" Jake asked and Ava raised an eyebrow "Why? Do you have a crush on Luke aswell" She asked sarcastically making Jake reply with a sarcastic laugh "Very funny. I just thought that well, Maybe i could help him out give him some advice y'know? I am a charmer with the ladies after all"
"Right.. but im afraid that you're charm wont help, He's in love with Zander" She told him making him pull his infamous 'nani' face "DID YOU SAY ZANDER?!" He yelled out making everyone stare at him "Do you need to make a scene everywhere?" Ava mentally facepalmed "i didnt mean to..i had no idea he liked Zander. I only thought they were close childhood friends" Jake shrugged "Are you going to help or continue talking to your music girlfriend?" Drew turned around "Dont call her that!" "Dont call me that!" Ava turned around and continued helping Hailey with the science

Ava walked up to Luke knowing Jake would probably come over "Hey, Luke. You seem upset is it that boy?" She asked and Luke sighed "I guess i have been obvious-" Luke started "HEY LUKE, AVA" Jake called out and ran over "You mentioned singing yesterday and I thought you could write a love song, I could even sing it" Jake suggested "You would really do that?" Luke got excited "Of course!" Jake agreed "Im sure Hailey and sacrifice performance time" Ava nodded
"That would be great! I'll get started tonight. So you'll sing it tomorrow during rehearsals?" Luke was Finally finished being sad and Ava decided to just head home early

Ava walked in and noticed Jake and Luke were away, She just assumed that they were working together on the song "Alright, Today we should practice on our performance skills. We dont just want to sound good on the stage we want to look good aswell. Does anyone know where Luke and Jake are?" Hailey asked the club "I was talking to them yesterday but havent seen them since. Knowing Jake he could be anywhere" Ava shrugged "Im here! Sorry im late i needed to get something from my locker, Wheres Jake?" Luke asked "Anywhere to be honest" Ava answered and Milly went to see the paper in Lukes hand "Whatcha got?" She asked trying to peak at it making Luke stumble back
Milly ended up taking it and reading "Jake and Ava proposed that i try writing my own song yesterday so.." Luke scratched his head nervously "You wrote a love song?!" Milly exclaimed "Wait what?" Hailey looked dumbfounded "Thats great" Ava smiled "I didnt know you were writing a song.." Zander looked upset at Luke not telling him "Jake did say he could sing it, Guess it'll be a while..unless" Ava smirked at Hailey knowing she could sing it "Ava! I cant believe you'd suggest that" Hailey looked mad at Ava
"Dont be silly, We know your voice is amazing" Sean complimented "Oh, Please Hailey! We havent heard you sing in ages" Milly begged "Uh- but honestly guys im really out of practice so maybe we should just wait for Jake—" Zander interrupted Hailey "Oh please, Stop with the modesty Hailey you know you're good. Besides we could be waiting for that oaf to turn up" Zander looked annoyed "I dont want to force you or anything Hailey but i'd really appreciate if you do this for me we're your family remember? You dont need to be anxious infront of us" Luke reminded Hailey to convince her to sing
"All right. You win" Hailey said defeated "Aw yeah!" Milly cheered "Thats more like it!" Sean cheered "Thank you so much Hailey here!" Luke passed Hailey the lyrics "I really hope you like the song. Im not really a writer so.." Luke looked nervous and Ava walked up to stand next to Milly as the audience. Luke sent Sean the track and Milly started getting excited

"Woooo! That was amazing!" Ava cheered and everyone started to compliment her as it was too long she hadnt sung but little did the club know Jake was standing outside
