9. Why did I do that?

In the next morning I woke up but Newt wasn't there. I got up and searched after him. I couldn't fins him and got worried.
G: Hey Y/n! Why do you look so worried?
Y/n: Because I can't find Newt anywhere.
G: I thought he told you.
Y/n: Told me what?
G: He went into the maze with Minho.
Y/n: WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HIM!?!?!
G: Because I thought you were okay with it.

I was so angry and just ran into the forest and sat down and cried.
Timeskip:  It's now afternoon and Minho is now back but Newt isn't. The maze doors are about to close and I ran in. The doors closed right after I ran in. Why did I do that? Probably because the person I trust the most is in here. I ran around a lot and just didn't know where to go until I heard someone talk.
N: Y/n? Why are you here?
Y/n: I wanted to find you and because I care about you. If you die I'm going to die with you.
He hugged me and said
N: I care about you to but we need to find a good hiding place so we aren't dieing tonight.
Y/n: Promise?
N: Promise!
We ran around and finally found a hiding spot and waited until we didn't hear any Griever sounds anymore.
N: C'mon we need to get to the entrance.
I nodded and we started to run to the entrance but something slimey dropped onto my shoulder.
Y/n: Eww, what the hell is that?!
N: Y/n, stay calm and run for your life no matter what you do don't turn around.

I started to run but stopped because Newt didn't run. The Griever was about to sting him but I ran upto him and stood in front of him. He realised what I did and started to cry but I stood up and walked to the entrance. He looked at me like I was crazy and walked after me with a worried look.
