Before they all headed to their respective classes, Kami was forced to exchange phone numbers with them. Then in a blink of an eye, it was time for club activity. Everyone headed to their respective clubs while Kami's advisor called Kami to the faculty. She gave her a list of clubs available. She told Kami to look around and decide on her club by Monday. Kami nodded and headed out of the faculty room.

When she closed the door, she saw Atsumu standing right in front of her. "What are you doing here?"

"I was waiting for you! You didn't pick your club yet right?"

She nodded slowly which caused his face to lit up.

"Why don't you be our manager?!" He said excitedly.

"If it means I have to see your face the whole school period, then my answer is no," she said immediately.

Atsumu, however, did not listen to her reply and dragged her to the gym. When they both entered, she felt the eyes of everyone. She ignored those stares and looked around to notice the volleyball materials.

"Wait," she said. "You're in the volleyball club?"

Atsumu nodded excitedly causing her to groan in annoyance. She was initially planning on joining as boys' volleyball club manager, but it turns out Atsumu was part of it. Now she had to think: Will she just join as the manager or should she find another club?

As she was contemplating, someone called out to Atsumu as he approached them. Kami looked at his jersey number and could tell that he was the captain. Meanwhile, Atsumu shivered in fear at his captain's presence.

"Why are you late?" The captain asked.

"U-Uh, Kita-san! I brought a manager!" He blurted out.

Everyone including Kami stared at him with wide eyes. Although Kami's was more of annoyance. Her annoyance was stacking up ever since she met him and it was about to burst any second. She took a deep breath and turned to their captain. "Excuse me, can you back up a bit please?"

The captain looked confused but complied. As soon as he was beyond her reach, she glared at Atsumu and elbowed him hard on the stomach.

"Ow! What the fuck, Kami!" Atsumu yelled in pain.

"I just told you I don't want to be in the same club as you!"

"Why not?!"

"Cause I don't want to see your face for the whole fuckin day!"

"Huh?! Who wouldn't want to see this face?!"

"Me, bitch! Me!"

As they continued to bicker back and forth, Kita called out to Atsumu, making him stop instantly and rush to change into his uniform. Once he was gone from the sight, Kita turned to her. "I'm sorry about him. He is really desperate to have a manager."

"It's okay. It's his fault anyway," she said.

"Are you a new student? I never seen you around before," he asked.

She nodded. "I just transferred today. I'm Kami Yuki, same class as that asshole."

"I'm Kita Shinsuke from year 3," he introduced himself as well. "I'm sorry about him once again."

"It's really fine, but I was wondering if I could just stay and watch?" She asked. "I do love volleyball."

Kita nodded to give her permission. He walked her to one of the benches and told her to be careful of the balls. He then went to join the practice.

Kami's lips tug upwards unconsciously as she watched them train. The boys' volleyball club surely reminded her of her good memories from her previous school. In fact, it was her only good memory.

"Teach me how to play volleyball, nii-chan! I wanna be as good as you!" Her younger self said excitedly.

"Alright! Let me teach you then! I'm sure you will be better than me!" A young boy smiled as he held out his hand towards her.

She felt pain in her chest when she remembered a different memory, but she shook her head. She should just focus on the happy memories.

She wanted to join as the boys' volleyball manager to let herself never forget about that certain person. He was the one who taught her and was the one who showed her the joy in it. However, she couldn't bring herself to play the sport after that tragic accident. Which was the reason why she wanted to be the manager instead. At the same time, she didn't know if she could handle Atsumu for the whole day. He was annoying her since they met and being near him was already causing her stress with the girls.

She stared at the list of clubs available. She glanced through them and noticed that she could choose to not join any clubs. Now she just had to decide: manager or no club. She sighed as she glanced up to see the members cleaning up already. She stood up and began to help them. Kita noticed and came towards her. "You don't have to do that."

She shook her head. "You let me watch. This is a way for me to say thank you."

Kita gave her an appreciative smile.

Once they were done, Atsumu and Osamu walked home with her as it turned out they were neighbours.

"Who would have thought that we were neighbours?! I'm telling you, we are destined to be friends!" Atsumu yelled excitedly.

"Why is life like this...?" She mumbled.

She then ignored Atsumu and turned to Osamu instead. "You were really good at volleyball. Since when did you play?"

"Elementary. It's quite fun," he replied as he savoured his snack.

"Aren't I better?!" Atsumu asked with wide eyes.

Kami did not even glance at him and continued to talk to Osamu. "That's nice."

"Why are you ignoring me?!"

"I wonder why," she glared at him.

"I said sorry already!"

"Fine, but I already decided not to join any club," she said.

"Come on, Kami! Just be our manager!" Atsumu whined.

"You are the reason why I'm not joining," she shook her head.

"It's your fault that we won't have any manager until we graduate," Osamu said.

That began their bickering and it was getting intense with how they were throwing punches and kicks at one another. However, they all managed to arrive home in one piece, thankfully.
