Chapter 7

When Kami woke up and checked her clock, she still had a minute before the alarm went off. Without any hesitation, she fell back into her bed, closing her eyes. Not long after, the alarm went off, making her groan as she snoozed the alarm. She then began to prepare for school quickly and head to her kitchen to prepare lunches for the twins as well as her appreciation to them for the past two days. 

Once she was done, she packed it and headed out her door. In front of her house, she saw the twins bickering about something. "Why are you arguing first thing in the morning?"

They quickly turned to her with an awkward smile as they shook their heads. She smiled softly and handed them the lunch she made for them. "It's for you guys. Think of it as appreciation."

They gave her a quick hug before walking off to school. When they reached the school, the twins dragged her to the faculty. Kami sighed as she knew what they wanted. She entered the faculty with a knock and went straight to her advisor. "Good morning, miss."

"Kami! I'm so happy to see you well! I was so worried when I heard about what happened," her advisor said with worriedness laced on her face. "But don't worry, they were all expelled immediately."

Kami nodded before asking hesitantly. "So did the school contact my... parents...?"

She shook her head. "Actually that depends on your decision. Would you like us to inform your parents and deal with them further?"

Kami quickly shook her head. "No, it's alright."

Her advisor looked worried but respected her decision. "What brings you here first thing in the morning?"

"I wanted to join the boys' volleyball club as a manager."

She nodded and handed her the application form. "Just fill this out and you can join immediately."

"May I fill it out here and hand it to you right away?"

"Sure, go ahead."

Kami borrowed a pen from her and quickly filled the form out. As soon as she was done, she gave them to her and excused herself.

"Did you get the form?" Osamu asked when he saw her exit the faculty office.

"I filled it out and gave it to her already. She will tell me when it's approved."

The twins smiled in joy and they all headed to their respective classrooms.

When lunch came, Suna asked how she was which she told him she was all better. He then asked about her becoming their manager. "So you're going to be our manager?"

"Yeah," she nodded as she chewed on her food.

"That's nice. It will be easier for us now," Suna commented.

She nodded in agreement.

She continued to enjoy her lunch period with the three of them until she was summoned by her advisor when lunch was about to end. She asked Atsumu to pack her lunch back for her while she went to the faculty.

When she entered the office, her advisor told her that her form was approved and she could start her club starting today already. Kami thanked her before heading back to her class. She then immediately told Atsumu about the news, to which he got excited.

Atsumu dragged her to the gym as soon as the bell rang. When they entered the gym, she was greeted by the volleyball club members. "Welcome to our club, Kami-chan!"

She thanked them and headed to Kita. "Should I start with the drinks?"

"Do you know what to do already?" Kita asked.

She nodded with a faint smile at her memories. "I used to be the manager of the volleyball club as well in my previous school."

"That's great. It will be easier for you," Kita nodded. "I'll give you the club schedule after we are done and hopefully you can get your uniform by next week."

"How was it?!" Atsumu asked with twinkling eyes.

"It was fun. I missed being the manager of the volleyball club," she said.

"Wait what?" Osamu asked in confusion. "You used to be a manager for a volleyball club?"

She nodded. "Yeah, in my previous school."

"AND YOU DIDN'T TELL US?!" Atsumu yelled. "YOU EVEN REFUSED TO JOIN!"

"Well, that was technically because you," Kami said, making Atsumu pout.

"Still, I'm excited to have a manager," Osamu said.

"You never had a manager before? No one signed up for it?" She asked in disbelief. "I have a hard time believing that. I'm sure a lot of girls signed up."

"That's exactly the reason why we didn't have a manager. They were all fans, so they didn't take the job seriously. They just created more work," Osamu sighed.

"No wonder," she said in understanding. "Why was I approved though?"

"That's cause Atsumu told the coach about you non-stop. I won't be surprised if he became deaf because of him," Osamu snickered.

"Hey! At least she is our manager now! You wanted it as well!" Atsumu defended himself.

Kami just snickered at the side.
