chapter 4

-flashback-

you sat beside regulus, you were grinning and he had a soft smile on his face.

"why do cows have hooves instead of toes?" you asked with the most serious face you could muster.

reggie looked deep in thought, "i'm not sure, maybe we can find a book in the library with the answer"

you giggled which cought his attention, "no, it's because they lactose" after that you started laughing, reggie didn't think the joke was that funny but seeing you laugh made him laugh.

you gasped, "i made the regulus black laugh. this is a new accomplishment, reg! first it was getting you to smile, and know i made you laugh, actually laugh!"

he rolled his eyes with a smile still on his face,

"merlin! i'm a genius! what did the nut say when it was chasing the other nut?" regulus started shaking his head, "these are horrible jokes-"

"i'm a cashew!" you interrupted with a smile.

the both of you started laughing. the both of you were slowly falling for each other, and you were both falling hard.
