you have just joined the avengers as there newest member. you were an experiment you dad started but never finished since he died 7 years ago, so ever since then you have been in the run. you stayed hidden in the shadows and trying to stay unnoticed from anyone. you never stayed in one place for to long which resulted in you never really having a home. the one time you did stay in the same place for a while you learned people were trying to hunt you down and either kill you or experiment on you, so even since then you were always on the run. one day while roaming the streets of an empty town you come across two avengers,natasha romanoff and clint barton. you knew who they were, you have seen them on the news and stuff. but knowing there back story, you had a feeling they weren't here just to give you a warm welcomes into this empty town, so your prepared you self to fight these two avengers.
" hey just gonna warn you i'm stronger then i look" you said wit a smirk on your face. both the avengers chuckled at this statement and gave you a smirk in return. clint was the first to make a move, shooting 3 arrows at you at once, just as you expected, then natasha tried to give you a swift kick in the head but you caught her foot the threw her down to the floor. "if you haven't notice i can predict what you are going to do" you say to the dumbfounded heros. you fight for a good twenty minutes, throwing punches, shooting arrows, and moving things wit your mind. until they both stop and look at each other. they both nod their heads to eachother while you stare at the confused. "ok then y/n how would you like to join the avengers" clint said as he held his hand out to you. you look at him in confusion and then look at natasha who has a smile on her face. "i'm sorry but i work alone. and how do i know your not just gonna experiment on me just like my father" you say wit an attitude. "well cause we're not. we have been tracking you for a year and a half now and we would like you to join the team" the red head says wit her arms crossed. "ok fine but one experiment and i'm throwing cars at every single one of you". you follow your two recruits to this jet looking thing and sit in a chair guessing your going to there compound.
you land next to this building which you guessing is the compound and don't move until natasha tells you to. you walk down the ramp wit the two avengers and into a common room which you guessing is also the living room. there you are met wit tony stark, captain american, thor, and this beautiful blonde sitting across the table from where youre standing. you can't take your eyes of this girl and the long you look the more in love you fall. you quickly fall out of your trance realizing you have been staring. you sit down in the nearest chair across from the beautiful girl. natasha and tony are talking but you can't pick up on what there saying cause you mind is still filled with the thoughts of the girl sitting in front of you. your hear some call you name and look to where it was coming from. "y/n let's go i have to take you to see director fury" natasha say while moving her head to the left. you get up from your chair and follow natasha into a long hallway. "hey who was that blonde girl sitting across from me at the table" you say looking at nat wit a questionable look, nat chuckles at you "yelena that's my younger sister" "oh really" you say already feeling shut down "lucky for you, your just her type" nat say wit a smirk on her face" "wha- ho-, how did you know i liked girls" "i saw the way you were looking at her. it looked like you saw a ghost" nat smiled at the look on your face. "hey just to warn you, you hurt her and you not gonna be able to predict what will happen to you" "uh- yea ok" you with a nervous tone in your voice wondering if you will ever even get a chance wit her.
you finally get to a door wit the name "fury" on it. nat opens the door and walks you up to him and sits you down. they then share a few words then she walks out and closes the door behind her. you curious and scared of what's abt to happen, you soon realize it's just a talk abt joining this team. fury gives you a whole run down in everything and everyone that you need to know. he welcomes you to the team and made sure you know what your doing here so no complications will be made. you walk out the door and to your surprise you see nat still standing there. "well someone must like me" you say as you both start walking down the hall. "just wanted to make sure you were ok and you now know what's going on" you shake your head and you look down the a packet of papers fury has given you to fill out. "what happens if i don't do these" you asking nat in a questionable tone " aha well fury will hunt you down until you get them done" you already, partially scared of this man decide it's not the best idea to not do these papers. you walk through a couple more hallways until you find the room you have been assigned to "oh look at you" nat say we a smirk on her face " your right next to yelena's room" your try to hid this huge smile on your face and just walk into your room and shake it off. "well this is your room, dinner is always at six so be there and have fun wit those papers" nat says before walking off and shouting the door behind her.
hours later and you realized it's 6 and just in time cause you finished this dumb packet for fury. you walk down the hallway into the kitchen and sit next to nat, since she is the only person you really know. you all start talking and sharing stories with eachother until the "starks parties" come into the conversation. soon you realize there is no backing out of this one and your forced to to go. as your cleaning up and getting ready to go back to your room you realized yelena wasn't there. you ask nat and she say she was out on a day mission and should be back before the party. you smile at this information cause you wanted to actually get to know her at this party.
the party starts in two hours and you don't what your going to where. so you ask nat if you can borrow anything and she gives you a black silk dress and black heels. "thanks nat" you say as you run out of her room as she is yelling out you not to mess it up. you get ready and put the clothes nat gave you and put your hair into a slick ponytail. you walk out to the party horrified since there are so many people and you only know one of them. you walk out to nat and start talking wit her. "are you gonna try and talk to yelena tonight" "yep that's the plan. where is she by the way" "she is still changing. the mission was longer then expected" you shake your head and start socializing with the rest of the people here. tony introduces you to quite a lot of people. you start talking to this group until you the the blonde you were starting at before, but this time she is so much prettier. you excuse you self from your current conversation and make your way over to the pretty girl on the stairs. "hi i'm y/n nice to meet you" "im yelena nice to meet you too" you smile at her beautiful russian accent and just want to hear it over and over again "your new here right" "yep just came yesterday and this is already not what i was expecting" "ahah yea, you will get used to it. tony loves throwing these" "well can i get you a drink" you ask yelena she agrees and you both walk over to the bar "i will have a vodka red bull. what do you want" "same thing" she answers. you both end up talking the whole night, sharing stories and making eachother laugh. you couldn't be more happier
