The start of the holidays

It was time to go home.

I was really looking forward to it but on the other hand, I always spent my holidays with marc but then again, we would only get one day with that side of my family as I was going to New York.

I hadn't spoken to marc since Halloween, I had a plan, during dinner I would talk to him ask him his problem and call him out.

Xander, Nik and Anjia were staying at Hogwarts, so that left me and Lara on the train. It was good, she had magazines and I had my book. Everything was peaceful. That was until Oliver came to the door.

"Hey, Artemis can we join you? Percy is talking our ears off about how he plans on making perfect and so on" he looked at me pouting and giving me his best puppy dog eyes, I'm not going to lies it's hard not to get lost in those brown eyes of his.

I let out a laugh and looked over to Lara, she gave me an approving look.

"Sure, but you can't leave Percy all alone, it's not nice"

"You're such a Hufflepuff," said Terrance who joined Oliver.

Duh!

"Don't worry there are other people in the compartment" Oliver chimed in while taking a seat next to me.

I tried to go back to my book, but I found it hard to concentrate with Oliver nudging and poking at me.

Honestly, like a child trying it get attention.

"Yes?" I said while closing my book

"what's that your reading?" he said, well more like sang

"This?" I pointed to the book, and he nodded in repones

"This is a book, Oliver; you see you open it up and there are words to read" I lay on the sarcasm thick

He rolls his eye and lets out a huff while the other laugh

"Your funny grey really, comedic genius"

I give him a wink "available all week wood"

"what's your book about you goofball"

"it's a book about the wizarding world in America. My grandma wanted me to read it before going to New York this weekend."

Lara suddenly straightened her back and joined in

"Wait you never said you were going there!" she exclaimed

"Didn't I? Must have forgotten"

"How could you forget that" Oliver nodded in agreement

"I've heard the M.A.C.U.S.A are harsh" he added

"I saw on tv they have the biggest Christmas tree and decorations," Terrance said and we all looked at him "what I like Christmas okay?"

We all laughed

Lara went back to her conversion with Terrance and Oliver and I did the same.

"so what are your family going to do there"

"well my dad is from there, and there is this ball thing I need to attend, and then probably tourist stuff, I haven't been there since I was like 4 or something"

"what's the ball for? Is it a Christmas one?"

"Duh!" I laughed " honestly I think it's just a pureblood thing, and I can't be arsed with it" I look to see everyone's attention back on me. 

I sighed " My Grandparents were supports of Grindelwald. Like in his inner circle" I felt shame come across me

"who?" Lara asked
