I got out of the pool running my hands over my hair pushing all the water out as I grabbed my towel to dry myself. I walked into the house as I wrapped a sarong around my hips seeing everyone was scattered around the house, I walked over to the fridge grabbing an apple out.

"You know you should probably put sunscreen on if you're going to be out there all day. Just to be careful about skin cancer." Pope says making me turn around to look at him with a frown.

"Skin cancer?"

"It's very serious and very common. You're too young to be getting things like that. You need to look after your body."

"Is this happening right now?" I said raising an eyebrow making him give me a look, Deran chuckles from the table.

"Pretty sure that's his way of apologising. You know Pope." Deran says making Pope give him a look and looking back at me.

"So not only do I get a lecture about my medication but I get one about the sun?" I said nodding my head slowly, "Is this you actually apologising or were you asked too? It means less if you were asked."

"I'm sorry Seph, for what I said." Pope says, struggling to come out with the words. I stood there with a straight face before breaking out into a laughter.

"How hard was that for you to say?"

"Very."

"I know." I said smirking as I bite into the apple, he rolls his eyes at me and goes to sit on the table.

"You hungry sweetie?" Smurf speaks up and I see her not looking at me, I follow her eyeline to see her looking at J.

He doesn't say anything but continues to walk off to what I assume was his room. I waited for a second before I walked off to J, I passed Deran who was giving me a smirk and a slight wink only for me to throw my apple at him. I kept walking over to J's room standing at the door seeing him sitting on his bed looking at his hands.

"You alright?" I asked making him look up and he purses his lips together.

"Nicky and I just broke up." J says and I nodded walking over to sit next to him, I reached over to his hand and he links our fingers together.

"What happened? I thought you two were sweet?" I said and he doesn't say anything making me sigh, "You thought breaking up with her would somehow protect her from you."

"Yeah. I just, I don't know."

"You don't have to explain anything. It gets hard to have a relationship when you have to keep things from your partner."

"You know anything about that?" J says looking at me and I chuckled shaking my head.

"I kind of avoid relationships for that exact reason. Oh and the fact that I have abandonment issues and a long list of mental issues." I said chuckling making J smiles shaking his head looking at me, "I am sorry though. About you and Nicky, I could tell you really liked her."

"Are you actually sorry or?" J says and I rolled my eyes at him, he chuckles lightly before it died down.

He starts playing with my hand and the rings that sat on them making me rest my chin on his shoulder as I rubbed his arm with my other hand. I looked up to see Smurf in the doorway making me clear my throat as I took my hand out of J's grip making him look at me and I gave him a side smile.

"I'll see you out there." I said standing up I walk out the door giving Smurf a smile before leaving to the table.

"Have fun in there?" Deran whispers over to me making me slap his arm as he laughs leaning back into his chair.
