It was Thursday and me and Aaron were heading to my house

Today in Math class the teacher assigned us a project we had to do together and my dumbass suggested we go to my house to finish it

I was growing really anxious at the thought of him at my house

What if my mom was home?

She would probably act all nice and shit if she saw him, that's how she is, she makes people think that she's a great mom when in reality she's not, I just hope she doesn't get mad at me later for inviting him

Maybe she's not even here, she's usually out at this time

Aaron pulled over in front of my house as I slowly stepped out of the car heading towards the door

I hesitantly opened the door stepping in and locking it behind us

I was hoping my mom wasn't here

But that hope was gone when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs causing me to feel uneasy

Suddenly my mom appeared in front of us and her eyes were locked on Aaron

Aarons eyes darted from my mom to me with a unreadable look across his face

"Um h-hey mom, this is Aaron, me and him have to finish a project for school, I hope you don't mind me inviting him" I said hoping she wouldn't get mad at me later

"Of course not sweetheart" she replied with a fake smile on her face

"Well it's nice to meet you Aaron, you're a very good looking young man" she said as her eyes traveled down his body

"Mom-"

"You know i'm surprised someone like you would talk to my daughter, I've rarely seen anyone bother talking to her" she quickly cut me off laughing

Well that hurt

"We don't have much time on this project so can you lead me to your room Jennie" Aaron suddenly said looking at me while ignoring my mom

"Well you kids can go do your work, Jennie I'm going out somewhere but I'll be back tonight, we have something to talk about" she said making my stomach turn

"Alright" I said heading towards my room while Aaron followed

Moving into my room I stared at Aaron examining my room

Our rooms were pretty different, while his was mostly black, mine was a bit more colorful. I had a large bed in the middle of the room with a white blanket on top, there were plants everywhere including a large sage carpet on the floor as well as many posters all over my walls, and a giant bookshelf on one side of my room

Aaron headed towards my bed and sat up leaning his back against the headboard

I grabbed my backpack and moved to sit next to him against the headboard

"I'm sorry if my mom made you feel uncomfortable" I said turning to look at him

"Don't apologize for other people Jennie"
