"Come on JJ,push. You can do it" I encouraged a birthing JJ. Here I was 8 months pregnant, holding JJ's hand as she pushed out her baby boy. She pushed one last time, a beautiful baby came out, he soon cried. He looked like Spencer. "Y/n.....I can't".

5 months back
"JJ I swear to God the second I get out of here I will find you and kill you and that baby" You and JJ were visiting spencer in jail. Spencer did not like the idea of having a child with JJ. "it is a promise, y/n I will also find you. Poor you guys, gonna have 2 dead baby's on your hands" we were both left dumbstruck at his choice of words. "lets go JJ" we left right away, never visiting again

Back to the present time
"I get it JJ" I took him from her hands "what do you want to name him?" She thought "Henry" "I'm sure Aaron wont mind us taking him. Are you sure its what you want?" She nodded "yeah y/n. I am fine being auntie JJ" I smiled at her sadly. "ok. Do you want to stay with me? The team is on a case and I'm all alone-" "y/n I already know you want me to stay because of Spencer getting out of jail tonight." "JJ, we both know its safest" "Yeah. Call Hotch ask him if he is ok with you guys adopting Henry" You did. "hey Aaron.." "Hey y/n what's up" "JJ went into labor, she wants to know if we want to go through with adopting her baby" "y/n is she sure" "yeah she is determined" "Then tell her yes." "ok. I love you" "I love you" he hung up, and I walked back into JJ's room "He said yes." "Great. I will talk to the adoption people, might take some time but still" "or, what if when the spencer situation is over you take him because we don't fully adopt him." I put the idea up but she quickly downed it "no. y/n I want him to have a good life, siblings. please adopt him" "ok fine jj" "thank you"

1 week later at 1:27 p.m
The team was called on to another case, I was now 9 months and set to give birth any day now. I was staying at home with JJ as we were both on maternity leave. "JJ I am gonna make breakfast, Suddenly my water boke. "j-JJ my water broke, we have to go." All the kids including henry were out with Jessica so it was just us. "Not so fast a gun cocked behind us "Spencer" I whispered to JJ. "Spencer please" He aimed the gun in-between us "So who should I kill first..my slutty ex or the mother of my child" "Me" I spoke. "Oh. And why you?" "Because JJ dose not deserve to d-shit" A contraction ran through my body, "Spencer please, she is in labor" JJ pleaded at him. "oh ok, what about it?" "God damn it spencer! she needs to go to the hospital!" "Y/n has enough kids, She can let this one die" another contraction, you grunted in pain. Spencer raised the gun. The next thing I heard were 2 bullets ring through the house. I fell to the ground. JJ fell soon after. JJ soon began to sputter blood from her mouth, I assumed he had hit her in the lung. I reached down to where I felt a sharp pain, the center of my chest. "S-spen-spencer, w-why?" I was also starting to cough up blood, he knew what he was doing "You locked me up you bitches" JJ reached out for my hand, "i-im sor-sorry JJ" she held my hand. She stopped moving I reached the best I could, I felt slightly relived when I found a pulse. Most Of my labors had lasted Hours, I was praying this one would last hours too. I passed out soon after jj. Then spencer fled, Leaving us there bleeding out on the kitchen floor.

Hotch POV.
We wrapped up the case, I called y/n to let them know we were on our way back. no answer. I tried again, but no answer. When the jet landed I headed to my office and wrapped up some paper work, I looked at my watch $:09. I head home which was a 30 minute drive. When I got out of my car at 4:42 p.m I felt the color leave my face when I saw the front door Ajar. "y/n." I mumbled, I dropped everything and ran in. "y/n!" I called. I received no answer so I pulled out my gun and started to walk around the house, when I entered the kitchen I saw JJ and y/n laying in pools of a liquid I recognized to easily I ran to check them both for a pulse, they were there. I called 911, suddenly y/n woke up "A-ar-ron, I am i-in la-labor b-by the w-way" I was scared by the way y/n's breath was labored. "Its gonna be ok honey" JJ was bleeding out to, I put pressure the best I could on both of their wounds. Not to long after the ambulances arrived. I joined in the back of y/n's ambulance "Sir, what is your relation to them?" "o-oh their my partner" "How far along?" "I think their water broke when this happened." The female paramedic checked if they were dilated yet "Shit they are crowning. Greg we need to get to the hospital quick, like now" She spoke to the driver. I grabbed y/n's hand, and we soon pulled in to the hospital. I was separated from y/n.

Hotch sat in the waiting room for what felt like ages.. "Aaron." he felt a presence next to him, It was Dave "JJ made it out, y/n is still in surgery" Hotch updated him. "the team is here" Hotch cleared his eyes and shook his head. "They might die, might lose the baby..Dave a million things could happen." "I know" They all sat there for a while. "y/n hotchner" Hotch shot up "yes" "they pulled through, please follow me." "the baby?" "Oh, let your wife tell you" Hotch's heart dropped, that could mean anything but he thought the worst. "when he walked into the room, he teared up seeing his wife holding a perfectly healthy baby in their hands. "omg" He crocked "We made it, we are fine calm down" Hotch was crying literal happy tears. He sat in the chair next to y/n, and grabbed her hand. "did jj make it?" "yes she did' "good" "what happened?" "Spencer...he kept his promise" In that moment the only thing running through the Hotchner's head was revenge on him, sure they couldn't do anything, But they surely could throw him in jail forever.
