Katniss POV
I open my eyes, looking to see Peeta sleeping on the floor. The throbbing pain in my head keeps me from sitting up. I look around to see basic boy stuff. Its Peeta's room. I groan and take a pillow, throwing it and hitting Peeta. He jumps and looks up to see me.
"Good morning!" he says smiling.
"Ugh...quiet." I say holding my head.
"Well thats your own fault." he says standing up and walking over to me. "I'll take you back to your dorm."
"Noooo...just let me sleep." I say turning over. He chuckles and sits at the edge of the bed. Only now do I really notice...I'm in Peeta's room....in his bed....and he's right here...Peeta...the ladies man....the heart breaker. I jump up but my head feels like a train slammed into it.
"Woah..hey..you okay?" he asks looking at me worried.
"I uhhh...I forgot I have to study." I say jumping up and heading for the door.
"Wait..let me walk you there." he says but I shake my head.
"No..no I'm good. I say rushing out the door. I run down the hallway, to the girls side and my dorm. I open the door, slamming it behind me and jumping into my bed, pulling the covers over my head and holding my head that now is even worse. It feels like a million bombs are going off all around my brain.
"Ummm..Katniss?" I jump and look out to see Annie and Clove staring at me. "You okay?"
"I'm...I'm fine." I say.
"Where were you all night? Last time I saw you were went outside." Annie says.
"I went out for some air." I say.
"Then?" Clove asks.
"I just wanna sleep guys come on." I say pulling the covers back over my head.
"You were in Peeta's dorm weren't you?" Annie asks. I sigh and sit up.
"Yes, I was but I only slept there. I woke up this morning and ran out." I say. They smile and look to eachother, more than amused. Why do I always tell them things?
"Did you have sex?" Clove asks smiling like a dork.
"No! We didn't have sex! I was drunk and he carried me back but to his dorm." I say. "I wouldn't just have sex with somebody." they nod as if I'm lying. "Oh whatever."
"Oh come on Kat. We're just messing with you." Clove says.
"Yeah yeah...let me sleep. I feel like shit." I say making them laugh.
"Alright, come on. Lets go get some breakfast." Annie says. I hear them leave the room so I sit up. Ugh..I really feel nasty so I climb out of bed, despite them pounding head pain and walk to the bathroom, turning the hot shower on and stripping out of my dirty clothes from the night before. I step under the hot water and wash everything away till I hear a knock on the door. I turn it off and grab a towel, wrapping it around myself and heading to the door. I open it and jump to see Peeta.
"Woah...good morning!" he says smiling.
"Peeta? What are you doing here?" I ask hiding behind the door.
"Well...you ran out of my dorm like your ass was on fire so I decided to come here and ask why." he says.
"You..wha...ahhh...fine..come in." I say. He nods and walks in, sitting down on my bed. "I'm gonna get dressed." I walk back to the bathroom and dry off, getting dressed and walking back out.
"Sorry I busted in when you were showered." he says.
"Oh thats fine. How you feeling this morning?" I ask.
"Ahh..pretty good. I never get hangovers." he says. I scoff.
"Lucky, I never drink and the one time I do I get the worst hangover ever." I say making him laugh.
"Yeah..true...say..why did you run out this morning?" he asks. I sigh and looking down.
"Just wanted to get back here." I say. He nods and the door opens, Annie and Clove come in with food to see us.
"Peeta? What's he doing here?" Annie asks.
"I just wanted to see if Katniss is alright." he says. "But if your gonna eat I'll be on my way." he stands up.
"Rules, no boys in girls dorm Peeta." Clove says. He chuckles and is about to leave before turning and looking to me.
"See you in the next class." he says before leaving.
"Oh...my god..he wants you Kat." Annie says sitting down.
"What? No!" I say looking down. "He doesn't."
"I bet he does." Clove says. I roll my eyes. "Come on Kat. You like him too."
"No! I don't know leave me alone with it!" I say.
"Okay, geez. Grumpy." Annie says. I roll my eyes and lay back. They are some of the most annoying girls I know but they're right. I like Peeta.
