Katniss POV
Warm sun shines through my open window, waking me up. Birds tweet outside and Peeta's arm is wrapped tightly around my waist making me smile. The clock reads 8:23am. Final's are over. Its only a week till we can finally leave and start our lives. So long since I met Peeta...well not so long but it really feels so. His soft breathing brushes lightly against my cheek. His hair covering his eye. He hasn't had it cut for a while. I run my finer across his cheek, he only shifts lightly then slumps back into a deeper sleep. I grin, shaking my head and sitting up. Annie is sleeping at Finnick's and Clove here. Peeta only came to sleep last night. I get up out of bed and walk to the bathroom, turning the light on to see my messy bed hair making me huff. I brush it out and put it in a ponytail. When I walk out Clove is awake, looking at her phone.
"Morning!" she says smiling.
"Good morning Clovey how you sleep?" I ask sitting down on her bed.
"I slept fabulously but you and Peeta." she says wiggling her eyebrows.
"Oh my god he only came here to sleep." I say making her grin.
"I bet on my life he wanted to fuck you." she says. I gasp shocked.
"Clove! Go get me some breakfast!" I say as she gets up. Smiling she shakes her head, grabbing her wallet and leaving the dorm. I shake my head and sit back down next to Peeta, looking down at him as he sleeps peacefully. I run my fingers over his chin, his eyes flutter open and look to me. "Morning" I say softly. He smiles slightly.
"Morning Kat." his hand rubs my thigh. "How you sleep?"
"Very good." I say leaning down and kissing his chin then lips lovingly. He smiles and sits up lightly.
"I slept just great. With you at my side." he says looking up into my eyes. "Do you have any idea how breathtaking you are?" I blush lightly.
"Peeta! Stop it! You know I don't like compliments." I say covering my cheeks. He smiles widely.
"You just don't because they always make you blush and you hate when other's see you blush." he says poking my nose. "So what's our plans for today?"
"Well.....I'm not sure. I just wanna spend my day with you." I say resting my head on his chest. He chuckles and lets out a sigh.
"We could go shopping? Don't girls love shopping?" he says making me smile.
"We do but...I don't wanna drag you with me." I say looking up. He shakes his head.
"I'd love to go with, you could help me get some new clothes." he says stroking my cheek.
Alright, sounds fun so why not." I say just as Clove walks back in with some breakfast.
~Later that Day~
We walk down the streets of the so called 'Shopping Lane'. People bustle around, shopping or just walking with friends and family. Peeta's walks close to me, holding my hand tightly as we move through the thin crowds.
"So where you wanna go first?" he asks. I shrug and look around before my eyes stop at a clothes store, Primark. I smile.
"Lets go there first, they have 4 stories of clothes for men and women." I say. He smiles as I tug him towards the shop. We walk inside and there are just clothes everywhere. Normally I'm not big on this stuff but I guess my inner girl comes out. I suddenly get excited to see what they all have here.
"Good lord you seem so...un-Katnissy." he says as I stop to look at some jackets.
"Well it's cool in here. We'll look at men's stuff soon." I say as we walk through this jungle of clothes. I end up getting some new shirts, 3 pairs of pants, a pair of new shoes and a bag. Peeta gets 2 pairs of pants, some new shirts, a belt, shoes and a hat. Something I got him to get since I thought it looked great as he did as well. After we pay we walk down the street again as I feel my stomach rumble.
"You wanna get something to eat?" he asks answering my prayers.
"Oh god yes I am starving!" I say making him smile. We end up heading to a little cafe, nice and cozy but honestly after what happened I feel a little unsafe in them. We sit and I sip a hot chocolate, I know, bad choice and Peeta a coffee.
"So what do you want to eat?" he asks sipping his coffee.
"I don't know. I'm kinda nervous to eat things from others like this." I say looking down. He reaches over and takes my hand.
"I won't let anything happen to you. I promise." he says soothingly making me smile. I nod and we order some cake, I get a strawberry one and he an orange one. I eat slowly, its delicious. I smile making him smile back. "Good?"
"Very very good. Yummy!" I say making him chuckle. After we finish we decide to head back. We walk down the hallways towards my dorm before we stop. He looks down into my eyes, pulling me close and kissing me passionately. Only Peeta could kiss like this, putting so much love and affection into a simple kiss making it something special. I smile and run my fingers through his hand before feeling something under my foot. I break the kiss, looking down to see a envelope. I grab it.
"What's that? A letter?" he asks.
"Yeah?" I open the door to see Annie reading and Clove watching TV.
"Hey! How was your day?" Annie asks. I smile and nod but look at the envelope. "What is that? A love letter?"
"No..." I mutter opening it. Pieced together letters like from newspaper.

I lose my break, letting the letter drop to the ground. Peeta looks at me worried, picking it up and reading it through before back up to me. It's not over. It.....never was......
