Both of us are sitting in the middle of the field, with her bandana covering her hairless head.
She placed her head on my shoulder and I put my hand around hers.
It's as if there are no more space around us.
We stayed like that for a few hours.
She looked at me and frowned when she saw tears brimmed on the side of my face.
"What's wrong?"
I smiled at her "Nothing, I just missed you" I will miss you.
"What do you mean? we were with each other yesterday" she chuckled.
"I know..."
We watched the moon and the stars. I was mesmerized. But I am more mesmerize by her.
I watched as she extended her hand up as if she could catch the stars above her.
"I wished for this to happen again, even if it means I have to give up my whole life"
She gave me a weird look "You're just saying that" she shook her head "and besides I'm the first one to go" she sighed heavily.
If you only knew.
It's been years since I saw you. And now you're back, I knew I've made the right decision.
I'm happy I wished, because I saw you again.
I'm sacred for the sun to rise, because I know I'll be gone by then. But at least her illness will disappear.
"Don't ever forget me okay?" I said.
"Of course, silly. Why would I?"
I got her wrist and wrote 'A Perfect Wish' using a pen.
I really hope she will never forget me. Because I never forgot her.
But I know she will, because that's the only condition. She has to forget about me for her to live a happy life.
