We all have a room
A room that makes us comfortable.
For me, I see it as a box, full of pillows.
One window and a closed door. I can see a half eaten burrito in the desk that is full of books.
It has a T.V., radio, and even free Wi-Fi. While I play with my phone that never run out of battery.
I have everything. I feel happy. I feel at ease.
But, whenever I look at the window, I see a field. A field that my feet never felt before.
My curious self stands at the door contemplating whether I'll open it or not.
All of these ideas came in my mind. What if a monster might eat me alive? What if there's an ocean I can't see and I'll drown? I don't know the answer, since I never stepped out of this box.
I won't take any risk
I look back, "I have everything in here, why should I go out?"
So I took a step back and continue doing what I know best: Binge watching, sleeping, eating.
Then the next day, I see my friends, enjoying yesterday's field from a far, while a different scene surrounds me.
If only I had not hesitate, I might have been happy like them. I might have been running around outside my room.
But... this is different. Each days are different. Yesterday it's a field, today it's an ocean, tomorrow it might be a dark sky. I'll never know, but I know that my room is safer. I'll stay. I might regret it, but at least I'm comfortable, right?
How about you? will you stay in your room?

For those who did not understand, this is my take on "getting out of your comfort zone". The room is our comfort zone and the scenery are the opportunities/experiences we hesitate to take HAHA Just saying to avoid confusion.
