Chapter 18

SEASON 7 SPOILER WARNING

3rd person pov

The next few weeks been the same for Ava and Kate. Kate's leg healed but she stayed at home so nothing bad happens again. Rick and a few others took Ava with them on supply runs and they earned trust. Daryl and Kate came closer and Tara and Ava too. Abraham and Ava became something like best friends and Daryl was like an uncle to Ava. Kate and Sasha became best friends and Rick like a father to her.

The next morning Ava woke up because she heard the gate opening and closing again. She got out of bed, changed her clothes and walked outside. She found Rick, Michonne, Glenn, Daryl, Rosita, Aaron, Jesus, Tara, Maggie, Carol, Gabriel, Abraham and Sasha walking through the big gate, their clothes drained in blood.

She ran towards Tara and hugged her. "What happened to you?" she asked the whole group as Tara and Ava parted.

"We went to a satellite station of a new group called the Saviors. Jesus told us that they are blackmailing and rob Hilltop. The other community I told you about." Rick replied and Ava nodded. "And what did you do there?" Kate asked. "We killed 'em. All of them. They are gone. Jesus said that they are living there so we removed them." Daryl replied. "They were also the people who killed Denise..." Rosita added.

"God damn tragedy with Denise...I miss her. But I'm glad they are all dead now. What crazy assholes." Ava said and Maggie and the rest of the group nodded.

Since that day Maggie felt a bit sick and threw up a lot. She told Ava and Kate that she fought against one of those Saviors and they hit her belly with a knife. After 2 weeks it got worse but Alexandria doesn't have a doctor anymore since Denise died.

So the group decided to drive to Hilltop and bring Maggie to Doctor Carson. Kate and Ava stayed at Alexandria because they decided to look out for the people.

A group of 11 people got in the RV and in cars and they drove out the gates at afternoon. They knew they won't come back until Maggie is in Hilltop and the drive to Hilltop takes a while so they put Tara, Ava and Kate in charge since Daryl left with the group too.

[Inside the RV]

Maggie laid in the back of the RV in a small bedroom, Glenn next to her. Abraham drove and and the rest just sat around and checked up on Maggie sometimes. "Just stay awake alright?" Rick asked and laid a hand on her knee. Her face pale as a corpse and she sweats a lot. She nodded and tried to calm down her breath.

"Shit." Abraham whispered and Rick made his way to the front and looked outside the window. "What the..." he said. "Who's that?" Eugen asked and they all stood up. Abraham stopped the RV and looked at Rick. "Are those...Saviors?" Sasha asked and Rick sighed. "Seems like we didn't get all of them."

"Let's make a turn and use the other street." Sasha said and Abraham turned the vehicle.

After 10 minutes they had to stop again. "The hell? Are they blocking every street that led us to Hilltop?" Abraham asked and Sasha shrugged her shoulders next to him. "I don't know, but is there any other way to get to Hilltop?" Rick asked. "Yea 3 others." Eugene said and grabbed a map of the area. "Contact the others and tell them we eill come from the west side because the Saviors blocked our way." Rick said and Sasha nodded.

She grabbed the walkie talkie and spoke into it. "Daryl? Michonne? Are you there? Anyone?" she said and heard a rustle. "Yeah We're here, what's up?" she heard Daryls voice. "The Saviors blocked our ways, we're trying to get to Hilltop from the west side. We just wanted to let you know and warn you. Be careful, it seems like we didn't kill all of them" she said and they heard a sigh from the other end. "Alright. Thanks, drive carefully" Daryl said and Sasha turned the radio off.
