Cameron's hands slid into pockets as her head turned downcast from the morning's events. It was not even noon and her world shattered around her. She shuddered quietly as she turned down the next street. The coffee shop she wanted to go to had a line a mile long outside of it. Her shoulders sagged further down as a groan escaped her lips. Her mind prickled to another coffee shop that was a few blocks away. With a huff of determination, she set off. The walk made her feel like there was something worth going to. As she travelled up to the next shop, a certain voice caught her attention. A mocking laughter filtered through her ears. Her head whipped across the street. Mirthless eyes stared back at her as laughter fell from a crooked grin. Hands balled into fists in her pockets. She squared her shoulders as she stared the man dead in the eyes. His laughter stopped as the eyes of strangers glanced at him. Instead, he crossed the street over to her side. His smile was coy as he stood alongside Cameron.

"Heard about your shop. Shame what happens when you try to infect people with your gay."

"You're just a walking cliché bigot aren't you?" Cameron chided as she kept walking. He followed beside her with a nonchalant walk. No matter how fast she sped, he kept her pace. "Can I help you?" The words were growled from a snarl as she halted. She turned on her heel and glared him down.

"Yeah, actually, there is." Cameron folded her arms over her chest.

"And that would be?"

"Stay away from Daniella." The words hissed from his lips. "I don't know what you did to her, but get away from her. She was mine first."

"She was never yours."

"She was meant to be. I'm positive on that. She's my one." A dark growl escaped Cameron.

"You are worth less than dirt, you know that?" Her eyes rolled as she turned away. "Just stay the fuck away from us."

"Yeah? And I'll keep that in mind when I visit her store again." Cameron stopped dead in her tracks. The thought of Daniella in tears curled up on her couch sprang to her mind. "Or maybe her apartment." The weight of the words hung in the air. Her blood boiled. Something deeper inside of her screamed. It was a scream that was not her own. A fire that burned brighter in her soul that she could not deny. She turned on her heel faster this time.

How dare you flowed through Cameron's mind as she walked up to the cocky man. How dare you think I'd let you that close to her. The voice was foreign, but the words rang so true that she agreed. Her hand bunched into a fist. She was mine first. Fist connected with a nose and crunched inward. A grin turned into a groan as hands went to his face. Blood dripped from her fist as she recoiled. She blinked back the rage and shock crossed her face. Marcus groaned as blood leaked from his nose. People stood around. Some even clapped as impressed nods headed Cameron's way. She gulped as her eyes went wide. There was no way that she was not getting out of this unscathed.

"Crazy bitch!" The snarl crossed her ears a second too late. A fist connected with her cheeks seconds later. Anger burned bright in her chest as she fell to the ground. She scrambled to her feet as Marcus stumbled back. Her jaw tightened painfully. Pain pulsated from her cheek as she growled. Her body reacted for her. Anger used her leg and connected it to his groin. Marcus screamed as he fell to his knees. Another kick went straight to his chest. He sprawled onto the sidewalk in gasps. People ran to intervene. Cameron felt the weight on her chest lift as she watched him squirm away. Instead of saying anything, he retreated with a bloodied nose and bruised ribs. Anger dissipated to satisfaction. She turned away in search for that coffee shop.
