Daniella locked up the store as Cameron waited with her coat clutched tight to her chest. Daniella shivered at the oncoming wind as she put her keys in her pocket. Cameron shoved her hands in her pockets and walked up toward her shaking girlfriend. They huddled together. Cameron hooked her arm around her lover's waist and set the hand in her girlfriend's pocket. Daniella mirrored the move and they held each other as close as possible. The two waited impatiently for the older couple that made their way down the street toward them. When the four of them greeted each other, it was a race to the closest psychic shop. They all ran toward a brightly lit shop. 'Mama Futra's Psychic Readings' glowed at the top of the shop. Cameron's brow furrowed slightly.

"How the hell did I miss this?" She asked herself as Daniella ushered her in.

"Cameron, you can kick yourself later. Go in! It's freezing out here!" Daniella shoved the girl through the glass door and followed in behind. The bookstore owner shivered as the cold emanated from her. Cameron's only response was to hold her shaking lover as Eva and Jordan walked in. They seemed rather fine compared to the shaky pair. Cameron's eyes turned to the shop next. All of it was new. A foreboding aura vibrated from around the shop that shook Cameron to the core. Everything around her...pulsated. It was as if it was made of a breathing creature over usual furniture and decorations.

"Are you going to be okay?" Cameron asked Daniella as the woman clutched onto her lover.

"Something inside of me is telling me that this is not going to be fun," Daniella admitted quietly. Small thuds came from behind the door along with the chimes of bells. A woman in a black cloak and skull headed staff walked out. Her eyes were a sickly blue as her face was withered from time. Long, silver hair fell on her shoulders from the hood. A cackle made both of their skin crawl.

"Hehehe, welcome to Mama Futra's psychic readings! How can I help you both today?" Her voice cracked with age as she spoke in a joyous tone. Cameron gulped back her want to run. The woman stared at the two of them. A flash of surprise crossed the elderly face before it was replaced with a calm smile.

"H-Hi," Daniella stuttered. "W-We were j-just following a few friends that wanted to check this place out."

"We were looking for soul readings," Eva intervened.

"Ahhhh! The reading of the soul is a powerful thing!" Mama Futra stated with a certain glee in her tone. "Very powerful, very powerful indeed! The soul has the eye for all knowledge of life for the ones that are brave enough to look!" Eva nodded excitedly as she pointed toward Jordan.

"My friend is very entertained by the idea," Eva replied.

"Yes, yes, a good heart. I can see it from here! Curious but strong." Mama Futra's eyes scanned over the two women that held each other. Her smile slowly faded into a frown as bushy brows furrowed. The woman used her staff and walked a few steps closer toward the girls. "You two are different," she almost hissed.

"Different?" Cameron asked. She took a step in front of Daniella. Something that Mama Futra seemed to expect by the way her finger pointed between the two.

"You each have two souls inside of you. A battle of old and new. Of a love so strong that even the next life could not change it." Cameron's brow furrowed as Daniella held onto her lover.

"A damn riddle?" Cameron asked.

"It's only a riddle if you don't understand," Mama Futra cackled. "You two have souls inside of you that I must have a closer look at."

"Closer how? How do you-,"

Moments later something collided with the back of their skulls and the two fell with a loud thud.
