Ugh. First day of school. Why. I don't see why we can't continue with online classes this year. Now I can't spend the day at Applejack's, and night at Pinkie Pie's sleepovers. I have to actually do work. I wish I could go to a sports school, where all I have to do is play sports. That would be amazing.
*Time skip, 8:45 AM*
Honk. Honk. Oh, that must be Applejack now! I sprinted to the door, grabbing my backpack on the way out. Applejack looked me up and down and asked,
"Phone?"
"Check."
"Books?"
"Check."
"Lunch?"
"Goddamn it."
I ran back inside and grabbed an apple. When I came out, she smacked her forehead.
"By lunch, I meant more than just an apple."
I rolled my eyes. We didn't have time for this if we didn't want to be late! She smiled that adorable smile of hers, and I grinned. I jumped in, and she started driving.
"So, Dash, anything, you know, important go on this summer?"
"Naw. You?"
"A lot of apple pickin', if that counts!" She said with a chuckle. "Come on, Dash. Why so quiet? Tell me about your summer."
I stayed quiet. Only big thing that summer was getting hit by a car, but the injury was healed, so it didn't matter. Besides, telling her that would just make her more worried about me. She got worried when I didn't respond to her texts.
"Dash? What's the matter?" She asked, pulling me out of my thoughts. She put an arm around my shoulder and said "You can tell me anything. You know that."
I frowned and shook my head. "It's nothing, AJ." I said quietly. She glanced at me through the review mirror worriedly. I leaned into her shoulder and fell asleep.
