"Dash, wake up. Dash?" I felt the softest hands touch my arm. "Dashie?" I opened my eyes slightly to see Applejack looking at me nervously. You have a missed call. I glanced at the phone she was holding up. Uncle Spike. I sat up groggily just to feel Applejack's arms wrap around me."How're ya feelin', Dashie?" She murmured into my ear. I nuzzled into her chest. I didn't want to call Uncle Spike back. She laughed and stroked me hair. I didn't want to do anything. I didn't want to call him back. I didn't want to go to school. I wanted to stay with Applejack all day. She hugged me even more tightly, and smiled. She slowly broke the hug, and handed me my phone. I looked up at her, and she saw the fear in my eyes.
"Don't worry, sugar cube. I'll stay with you the entire time." I dialed Uncle Spike's number with trembling fingers. Applejack put one arm around me, and I clicked call. He picked up on the first ring. "RAINBOW DASH! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED I WAS?" He shouted. I dropped my phone and hid behind Applejack in fear. "It's okay, Dash. I'm here," she whispered, turning to me. She blinked. I was trembling from head to toe. She lifted me up and put me on her lap. I nuzzled her, and she leaned over and grabbed my phone. "Hello? Are ya Spike?" She asked. He gasped. "Yes I am. Is Rainbow Dash okay?"
"Yes she's fine. I'm Applejack."
"Ahh, the famous Applejack. Rainbow Dash talks about you constantly. May you please give the phone to her?"
"I'm sorry, Spike, but your yelling scared the hell out of her, and now she's curled up in a tiny ball, trembling from head to toe."
He gasped. "R. D.! I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Where are you?"
"At the moment, she's at my place. That's where she spent the night. I usually drive her to school."
"Will you please bring her home after school?" He asked.
"Sure thing, Spike," she said. She ended the call and looked down at me. I was still curled up in a little ball, but my trembling had gone down.
