~Chase~

Six years ago.

"Anti! Get your butt down here or I'm eating your waffles!" I shouted up the stairs, chuckling as I heard a 'You wouldn't dare!' in response. A light flickered near him and he backed up a little as Anti popped out, his hair a wild mess from the electricity.

"Where's my waffles?" I laughed and gestured to the kitchen, Anti shooting a little static into my foot.

"Okay! Okay! Chill." I smiled as I watched him go.

~A few hours later~

I sat next to the green-haired demon, watching him try to solve a puzzle with Jameson. I kept eyeing the clock though. It was almost time.

As the clock struck 12:00 I quickly got up and started walking to the door. "Anti! Time to go kiddo!" I called, knowing he'd beat me outside regardless.

And I was correct.

Anti was giggling slightly as I met up with him. The two of us went down to the secret spot behind our house. After about 20 minutes of walking we stepped into a large clearing with a large oak tree in the center. A couple rocks were scattered underneath but the best was a large one that was flat on the top.

Anti didn't even hesitate before walking over to sit on our rock, gesturing for me to join him.

"What do ya want to work on today Bud?" I asked, sitting down with a huff. Anti hummed in thought and looked at his hands.

"Could we work on shapes again?" He asked, grinning.

"Of course!" I smiled widely. "Could you make a square for me?"

Anti nodded and I watched as electricity formed at his finger tips. He formed a ball and started shaping it into a cube.

"Good job Anti!" The glitch smiled a little and started reshaping the cube.

His eyes lit up with pride as a butterfly made of static electricity appeared from what used to be the cube. I smiled widely as Anti held it.

"Want to make it fly?" I asked, Anti nodding. "Alright, just focus on the wings..." He did as I instructed. "Make the static light, like the kind of electricity that doesn't hurt, but shocks. After that I want you to make the body a little lighter."

Anti stuck his tongue out as he focused, the little strings of electricity coming from his fingers starting to dim. "Done!"

"Okay, now, let go." I said in a soft voice, my eyes glowing a little as Anti let go of the static butterfly with child-like excitement.

The butterfly started flapping it's wings and rising into the air, Anti leaning on me. We watched the butterfly for what seemed like hours before the man-child made a sound.

"Thanks Dad."

I smiled. "You're welcome kiddo."

"What happened to you Anti?"
