📍 Bank Vault | January 2014

Inside a bank vault, Bucky was asked to sit down on the chair to wait for the other agents to fix him up. He was left alone inside the room with the lady he fought earlier, who was passed out strapped on a similar chair with a blindfold on.

He let his eyes travel to a peculiar being. The whole left sleeve was ripped out, showing her white skin. Her hair was just as white, but without her mask on her lips were the color of a rose.

He remembered how her eyes looked within him earlier. They were between blue and grey. She looked like one of those expensive porcelain dolls.

A grunt left her lips as she started moving. She opened her eyes, seeing nothing but darkness, and felt her arms, wrist, and ankles were tied. Anxiety starts to ripple in her chest with this position.

"Hello," she called out.

Bucky flinched a little, putting his guard up, unsure if he should reply to the struggling lady.

"Hello!" She called out once more.

"Uh, hi?" Bucky said, clearing his throat.

Usually, hearing a man's voice in her condition right now sends her into haywire. But for some reason, whoever was talking, there was a sense of security.

"Are the lights off or is there a blindfold on me?" She asked.

"Blindfold," he answered.

"Are the people who fought with me are here?" She asked.

"I heard they have escaped going here," Bucky said.

"Fucking great," she grunted, not even wanting to ask him to remove it because she knew he won't take orders.

Truthfully, Steve being America's golden boy, made her trust them a little. They escaped leaving me to fend for myself with the people I hate the most.

The woman calmed down, and it baffled Bucky.

Shouldn't she be screaming?

"Name?" She heard a gruff voice asked which sounds like the Winter Soldier earlier.

"43102," she answered like how she was trained to do.

The door opened and in came HYDRA scientists and agents. They started to fix Bucky's metal arm.

He watched Rollins come in, guarding the woman who got shackled on her seat.

"You know, I can still kill any of you. I know what you look like," she said with a tone that will make you feel shivers.

"You're in no position to give threats, 43102," Rollins warned her holding her forearms.

Not liking anyone's touched, she transferred pain to the first image she saw.

Rollins began to tilt his head back in an agony of pain. Everyone put the woman at gunpoint who was shaking in her seat, "Do not touch me."

"Stop it," a scientist told her, seeing Rollins hold his neck as if he was choking.

"Pain," she uttered quietly, intensifying her torment while feeling and hearing things from her memory that was triggered by Rollins's touch.

"Knock her out!" An agent ordered one of the scientists.

Seeing the needle got injected into her, Bucky wanted to move and help her, but the stare of the man fixing him told him no.

He looked back at her and saw her breathing started to become shallow, and the screams of the agent began fading as he saw Dr. Zola talk to him, "Sergeant Barnes..."

He saw how he was falling off the train while the blonde man from earlier calls out to him, "Bucky, no!"

HYDRA agents picking him up after his fall flashed through his mind. Then, he heard the same doctor again, "The procedure has already started."

Bucky saw how his left arm was amputated and replaced with the metal arm. "You are to be the new fist of HYDRA," the man said to him. "Put him on ice," he ordered the other agents. Bucky came back to his senses after he saw himself being frozen and knocks over the HYDRA agent, who was fixing his arm.

They pointed their guns at Bucky to prevent him from harming anyone. Pierce then entered with Rumlow and some other HYDRA agents, telling them to put their guns down.

"Mission report," Pierce said to Bucky, but he was only starring blankly, not responding. "Mission report, now," Pierce repeated before slapping Bucky with his backhand on his face.

"The man on the bridge..." Bucky started remembering how Steve called him by his name. "Who was he?"

"You met him earlier this week on another assignment," Pierce said.

"I knew him."

Pierce sat down in front of him and explained, "Your work has been a gift to mankind. You shaped the century, and I need you to do it one more time. Society is at a tipping point between order and chaos. Tomorrow morning we're gonna give it a push. But, if you don't do your part, I can't do mine, and HYDRA can't give the world the freedom it deserves."

"But I knew him," Bucky insisted, pursing his lips, feeling lost.

Pierce leaned back to sit straight before standing up and turning to the scientists, "Prep him."

"He's been out of cryo-freeze too long," a scientist said.

"Then wipe him and start over," He said.

"And how about her?" Bucky looked up to them as they were talking about the passed-out woman.

"Use her," Pierce commanded while Bucky was strapped in his chair and then place a teeth shield in his mouth. He watched the scientist pull the woman's chair off to the side of the machine similar to his.

They took off her blindfold and attached her head to the metal that started generating electricity to his.

The last thing he saw is her body jolting while she remained unconscious before he began screaming in pain himself.
