This chapter is in snippets of Bileween day.

"This is it, Lily!" Eda said in an almost child like voice.

"I know, I know! I'm as excited as Luz and King is!"

Meanwhile, King sat glaring at the two adult witches as their shenanigans ensue.

"I, for one, am not as excited as you two dufflebrains are. A fierce demon king does NOT associate with such affiliations."

"Ooh, such big words for a small little guy like you," Lilith laughed pleasantly. "Now, what do you wanna be for Bileween?"

King huffed and crossed his paws. "You two are the most powerful witches on the Boiling Isles, and you STILL indulge in childish activities?" King's face turned sympathetic. "I seriously thought you guys didn't celebrate Bileween anymore."

"You only think that because you're always mole hunting on Bileween night."

"Well, yeah! Better than sitting around doing absolutely nothing."

"HOOT HOOT! Don't be sad, King. You ARE doing something."

"Oh yeah? Like what, Hooty?"

"You're going TRICK AND TRICKING!"

"I'M DOING WHAT NOW?"

King attempted to scamper away, but Lilith was quick to step on his tail.

"Not so fast, King. Look how adorable Luz is!" Lilith picked King up by the scruff of his neck.

"What- Lilith, Eda what- what is that?"

King stared at Luz, who was dressed in an all white and black ghost dress.

"It's a ghost, but the way humans think they look! Truly terrifying."

"Eda, please tell me where you got that. It's hideous."

"The human realm, duh."

Lilith looked over in awe, snapping pictures at every site. Hooty stayed attached to her back, awing and oohing along with Lily.

Eda ran about like a little kid: happiness evident on her face. She was having a blast.

King, not so much. He dragged behind, nothing seeming to catch his eye. The only reason he barely willingly came, was because of Luz.

Her little smile, and little outfit, he couldn't resist.

So now, here he was. Dragging through an apple orchard, to pick out pumpkins.

Yes. He hated it.

But Luz, on the other hand, was laughing and giggling and clapping at the other kids in costumes. Happy little monsters, demons, and witches ran about, skipping and chatting happily among each other.

After what felt like forever of reaching and whining, Luz let out an aggravated cry, letting Eda know that she wasn't happy that she couldn't run around with the other children.

"Luuuuuz!!" King whined, wiping paint off of his fur.

Luz giggled, smearing purple paint on her pumpkin, who murmured in annoyance.

"Don't be such a downer, King!" Lilith brushed off with a wave of her hand, a slight playful smirk playing on her lips.

"This is so childish. Even for me." King admitted, crossing his small arms.

"Hey, look on the bright side," Eda poked a spot of paint on Luz's nose, making the small girl giggle. "We get to go trick and treating later. You love that part."

"Oh, I do, but..." King trailed off, sighing slightly. Eda stiffened her posture and eyed King closely, awaiting whatever response he said next. "It's just... I don't understand why we're celebrating all this extra-ness! We usually go trick and treating and call it a day, yknow?"

"Enjoy it for Luz, King."

"Yeah, we celebrated your first Bileween. What's the difference?" Lily pitched in, side glancing King as she helped Luz paint her pumpkin.

"I just... I'm meant to show Luz how to be a tough, strong, fearless leader. And kings do NOT celebrate Bileween."

Eda let out a small "ah", nodding her head. Lilith, on the other hand, had to muffle a laugh. How ironic, she thought.

"Don't worry about it, King. Leaders are allowed to have a little fun." Eda poked, playing along with Kings' little game.

"Just a little?" King asked both hopefully and innocently.

"Just a little." Eda whispered back, booping King on his snoot. King sneezed in response, making all four of them laugh.

King lashed his tail happily as he rode on the back of Eda. Lilith carried Luz on her hip, pointing out houses with their front porch light on. Luz was smiling widely, taking in all the sights.

The fresh smell of candy lingered in the air as the four made their way to the first house. King was the first to the door - leaping off Eda's shoulder and knocking as hard as his fist could take.

The resident opened the door and gushed over King and his royalty outfit - he was dressed in a small gold colored crown made of hard plastic and red and white cape that was nearly as long as him. He scowled at the woman, before forcing out his next words.

"Trick and treat!" While presenting his bag forth.

"Oh, what a cutie patootie. Here's your treat, but first do a trick!"

King groaned in response, before grunting and shifting all his weight to his front paws in what was an attempted handstand.

"Aw, how cute!!" The woman tossed King a piece of candy, making him squeal in excitement.

Then, Lilith and Eda held Luz forth.

"Trick and treat!" They shouted in unison for Luz. Luz giggled in response.

The woman gasped, taking a step back, before slightly laughing and stepping back out.

"Now, that? That is a truly horrifying costume. If only my youngster had that when they were little. Sure could have used it 20 years ago!" The woman laughed at herself.

"Oh, my, I am so sorry dear. Here's your treat, but first do a trick!"

Luz stared at the woman, as did Lilith and Eda. They clearly hadn't thought this through.

"Oh, um... use your magic, sweetheart." The woman lowered her voice, twirling her fingers. "You know how, right?"

Lilith and Eda shared a weary glance, before King budded in. "She's still young. She hasn't exactly learnt yet."

"Oh, but of course! She just seems so advanced for her age, I couldn't tell. Well, darling, take this."

Luz giggled as the woman put a piece of candy in her bag.

Eda and Lilith sighed a sigh of relief.

And, with that, they would for sure be enjoying the rest of their night.

Sorry this chapter seems rushed, yall. With no new episodes of Toh out, I haven't had any motivation to write about it. I had to force myself with this chapter cause I told yall it'd be out this month. I cant say the same about the next one, though... I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Thank you yall for the support on this book. It means a lot. Cheers, mates.
