Chapter 15 : A magical life in Emberville

"Marinette..... I have something to tell you." Adrien said with a guilty look.

"Really? What is it?" I asked and his eyes looked at the ground.

"You....you didn't actually live... Lila killed you..... at the battle." He said and my eyes widened, my heart started beating uncontrollably and I felt like I couldn't breath anymore.

"What?! W-What do you mean?" I asked with my voice trembling at the rhythm of my heart.

"I mean that... you died and we couldn't bear to lose you so...... so we turned you into a vampire." He said, the words repeating themselves inside my head again and again and again.

We turned you into a vampire.

"I.... I know that you probably want to.... process this so we'll leave you alone right now and we'll come back later-"

"Everyone leave. I only want Adrien to stay here. We have to talk." I said and everyone quickly left the room.

"Why Adrien?!"

"...... You won't forgive me, will you?"

"Answer my question first! Please!"

".... We couldn't bear to lose you Marinette. Alya was crying when she realised you were dead and begged me to do everything in my power to wake you up. She knew you and I knew too that you would probably never forgive us but just seeing you here with us again, was all we needed.... I'm sorry okay? I'm not saying it wasn't also my decision to do this to you, after all I did it, but we couldn't bear to see you dying in front of our eyes and do nothing okay? I know that you'll hate me because I shattered all your dreams and I'll understand if you don't want to see me anymore okay? Just say that you don't hate me. Please. At least that and you can leave."

I ran to him and I hugged him.

"I don't hate you Adrien. And I won't leave. I would do the same for anyone of my friends anyway and you know that. And how could I leave you alone in here? I promised to stay with you for the rest of my life and that's what I'll do." I said and we hugged again.

"So..... I know it's not a good time but... when are you going to tell your parents you're leaving Paris?"

"I um..... The truth is, I still haven't thought of what to tell them." I said and I smiled awkwardly.

"That's no problem. You can tell them that you'll leave the country to go and study in another university, which is technically true, since you'll continue your studies here, with me and with the teacher I have in the palace for the maids, and you'll marry me and make your dream come true here. Your parents can still come visit you and you can still go see them without them knowing anything about this. What do you say?"

"I'm ready Adrien. I can leave you whenever I want anyway so that's not a problem."

"Hey! Is this how you're treating me after everything I've done for you? Watch your tone Mari if  you don't want your future husband to get angry!" He said with an angry look and I started laughing.

"I'm just teasing you Adrien relax." I said not being able to control my laughter.

"Come here." He said giving me a kiss.

"Let's go. We have a lot of preparations to do." He said dragging me out of the room.

"Okay okay. I'm coming." I said smiling at him.

I think you can imagine the rest. Adrien and I got married after a few months and I learned so many things about this castle and the small village beside it. Everything was perfect. I did my dream job there, making clothes for the maids, for me, for the three kids I was pregnant with and for the small little store I had in the town but no one knew it was the queen that was making the clothes. My life is perfect here and I have no reason to say otherwise. Everyone is treating me with respect and I can't wait for my little babies to be born. Truly, my life here with Adrien is magical and I could never ask for more.

"Marinette!!!!" Alya screamed and jumped at me.

"Hey! Watch it Alya you know she's pregnant!"

"Yeah. Tell me about it Agreste. And you didn't even bother to tell me Mari! And with three children on top of it! You're a total beast Adrien. I don't understand how you did that to her. Really. I feel bleesed that I get to have them one at a time. And I already have two children! Just imagine it!"

"Yeah no thanks." Adrien said and kissed my hand.

"Our kids are going to be way more beautiful than yours anyway." He smirked and he looked at Nino.

"Rigghhhtttt..... Okay kids that's it for today we're going home." Nino said and grabbed their kids' hand.

"Daddy! I want to stay a bit more with aunt Marinette and uncle Adrien." Nino's daughter said and Adrien tried to hold in his laugh.

"See Lahiffe even your daughter likes me more than she likes you."

Before Adrien could even finish his sentence, Nino started chasing him with Alya and me laughing while Nino's kids were just observing from the corner their dad trying to kill their uncle who by the was was just chilling rather than running.

"Dorks." We both said and Alya helped me sit down beside her, resting my head to her arm.

What can I say guys, I'm very happy that I finally finished this story. Although it didn't go according to plan and many times I wanted to just give it up and never finish it, especially when I had to write the end, you were the only thing that still kept me here.
