- Lucifer -
Before we start, I'd like to give credit to @tasneemos for giving me inspiration for this chapter. Thank you so much, I love you <3
I think I've already fallen
Those few simple but thoughtful words kept replaying in my mind as I held a still sleeping Dior in my arms. It's a shame she fell asleep right after she uttered the sentence to me, so I didn't have time to react to it.
It's now morning, I slept shortly after her but woke up pretty early. I couldn't find it in my heart to wake her up, even though I usually do since I'm extremely bored without her, I'll spare her this time. Her head is hidden inbetween my neck and shoulder, her legs tangled with my own and one hand in my mine as I smoothed down her hair with the other.
Just the thought of Delilah loving me is overwhelming, but in a good way.
It's strange, no one's ever truly loved me before, nor have I been treated with so much love, so experiencing it for the first time is obviously going to be strange, in the best way possible.
A part of me thinks I'm not worthy of her love, not worthy of somebody like her.
But the other part tells me I deserve her.
The non-insecure part of me.
The rational side.
Even in the short time we've known each other, almost 2 months, we've been through a hell of a lot together, hurdles that don't normally interrupt a relationship this early on, but we've passed each obstacle and come back stronger.
We make each other beyond happy.
Well, at least I hope I do.
My thoughts were put on hold when I noticed Delilah squirming a little in my arms, pretty much awake now. I smiled at the sight, her squinting due to the sudden bright light attacking her eyes, making her cover them with her dainty hands.
Once those beautiful emeralds finally opened, a smile dawned on her lips, causing mine to grow.
"Morning Luci," she mumbled sleepily, sitting up, much to my disappointment.
I hummed in reply, moving the blanket off us so she can get up freely.
"Breakfast?"
"I can do it-"
"No, it's my turn. You did it last time," she argued, and I did not complain, planting a kiss on her bare neck and nodded. She quickly got up, throwing on my hoodie that was on the floor and exited the room, not before waving a goodbye and smiling sweetly at me.
It's a work day today, so her brothers and father aren't home, meaning we have the whole day to enjoy on our own.
Thank fuck for that
I got up, freshening up in her elegant-looking bathroom, then made my way downstairs, finding the little lady preparing breakfast for me.
Is it bad that I want to wake up to this every damn morning?
She had her back facing me, so she didn't notice my appearance. I walked up to her and once close enough, I pulled her to me by the waist, so her back rested against my chest. I covered her eyes with my hands, but it pretty much covered her entire face.
"Guess who?"
A little laugh escaped her plump lips at that, making a smile grow on my lips.
Wow I've become so childish
