The thought of James being The Winter Solider didn't sit right with you mentally so you chose to ignore all of your surroundings until you saw a man in dark clothing and wearing an eye patch walk into the room and sit down in front of you and Winter.
The man spoke after a few seconds of awkward silence "I'm Director Fury and I'm apart of S.H.I.E.L.D" You glared at him trying not to make any sarcastic remarks about who he was.
"I'm Reaper and that's all you need to know." You said in an annoyed tone.
He chuckled "I know who you are. You and Winter Solider over there are or were HYDRA's best assassins." You nodded with pride but Winter just sat there glaring at Fury.
Fury grabbed two files from a cabinet close by and looked inside them. After reading the first file he looked at you with a stupid smile on his face.
"So you're the infamous y/n l/n. It's a pleasure to meet you and I'd like to say on behalf of S.H.E.I.L.D thank you for your service." The name he said didn't seem right.
It didn't sound like your real name. "Why are you thanking me for my service as an assassin I thought you hated them."
"We do but you fought in WWII before HYDRA got a hold of you." You violently shook your head not believing a word he was saying.
You shut your eyes still violently shaking your head. You immediately stopped when you left strong arms wrapped around you.
You didn't want to open your eyes so you stayed still embracing the persons warmth. The person made you feel safer than you ever had in over 60 years.
You open your eyes only to see tears falling down Steve's face.
