One month passed since Marco's death. No one heard anything from Mikasa, she didn't answered calls or messages. And whenever girls were trying to invite her to hang out with them she would decline saying she's busy but they knew it was just a lame excuse to avoid them.
So they went to pay her a visit. They knocked few times but Mikasa just messaged them to leave her alone, Ymir however responded with "not until you drink some coffee with us" and so Mikasa opened the door and let them in.
"Why are you here, I know coffee is just excuse" Mikasa asked with gloomy atmosphere around her, "we just wanted to see how are you...you know after what Jean told you and Marco's death..." Annie answered but regretted mentioning Marco's name in front her
"Isn't this just another excuse to make sure I'm still alive?" She asked, and as usual Annie shrugged
"Maybe" she told her "well since you already saw me and made sure I'm here I think it's time for you to leave" she said with smile "you sure don't want us near you huh?" Ymir question her, Mikasa looked away "if you want to get killed go ahead stay here all you want" Historia scoffed "you're talking nonsense"
20 minutes later sitting in silent, girls decided to leave Mikasa alone, they saw she wasn't in mood for anything at all, so before they left they told her to call them if she needs something. Mikasa happily smiled, for first time in one month she smiled.
Just when Mikasa closed the door after them, she felt big pain inside her stomach. She groned and grabbed her phone to call Levi.
"Hello" he answered
"L-Levi c-can you come here for minute...I...I don't feel well" she said in weak voice, her legs start trembling she could barely stand.
Levi started panicking, he grabbed his car keys and got into his car as soon as possible
"Don't worry I'll be there in no time just try to stay alive" he told her and hung up
Mikasa put her phone away, minute later she felt her pants are wet, that was the moment she knew her water broke.
Levi burst in her apartman without knocking and quickly hurried to her side
"Mikasa what's wrong are you okey!!" He asked in panic
"Levi my water broke! Baby is coming!!" She told him as tears started gather in her eyes
"Shit! Don't worry I got this" he took his phone and quickly called the number of hospital. After that he called church to sent priest in case baby turns out to be posses by evil spirit and exorcism will be needed to be done
"W-why did you call the church! Augggg it hurts!!" She yelled in pain, "We'll need someone who knows to do exorcism" Mikasa hissed in pain
10 minutes later doctors and nurses arrived along with priest, they surrounded her bed. Nurses prepare hot water and towels. While doctors did exams on her to see if she's ready to go to the labor. After they finished exam, they told her to take deep breaths and push.
She did as they told her but as she pushed weather changed and one of nurses fall on the floor dead on the spot. Levi ignored bead body infront him just like doctors did.
"Ms. Ackerman I need to took deep breath and push hard as you can" Doctor in his 20is told her with calm voice, priest start reading bible to free room from evil spirits which were present.
Mikasa gave another push and picture dropped on the floor shattering in tiny pieces.
"That's it, continue, I already see the head"
Mikasa panting from exhaustion, Levi was holding her hand and wiped sweat from her forehead.
After 6 hard pushes, baby girl was born, doctor gave her to nurse to wash her and put her in towel. Levi let go of Mikasa's hand and went to see newborn baby. He found priest next to baby.
"Did you felt a negative energy around baby" he asked, priest looked at him "she has more then negative energy, it's like this baby is not possessed by demon or evil spirit, she is demon" Levi didn't seems shock.
"Can you do anything about this?" Priest nodded "I can try do exorcism but I don't know if that's going to work...it could end by killing her" Levi shrugged "do what you can if you end up killing her we'll tell Mikasa she died right after they cleaned her, one life is small prise" he told him but somehow he felt like most disgusting human being, he wanted to hate newborn but he couldn't, the more he looked at baby the more it reminded him at Mikasa when she was still baby. Tiny hands, pale skin and black hair.
He looked away and returned to room where Mikasa was, but in time he got there nurse was already holding another baby in her arms. She went to room where priest was. Just then they heard scream.
Levi run to see what was going but what he found left him horrified
Priest was laying on the floor dead, his throat was cut off, as for baby. She had small scar on her tiny hand possible of trying to do exorcism. Nurse was terrified but she did her job and put newborn baby boy next to his twin sister. And then dropped dead on the spot.
He returned to Mikasa's room just to find doctors dead killed at same way priest was.
He noticed dark figure next to her, it started caressing her cheeks, Mikasa couldn't move a muscle all she was able to do was turn her head slightly.
Levi was about to scream her name but his scream died down when he felt like someone stabbed him in the leg.
"You're not paying me enough for doing this job" voice behind him said, he turned his head to see tall blond man holding twins in his arms, around him was flying voodoo doll similar to him.
"I never paid you in my whole life, so stop complaining" other voice was dark and deep he picked Mikasa in bride style.
When he came on light, he could see his face more clear, his long dark brown hair was tied in man bun, he got shivers down his spine when his green emerald eyes glared at him
"Looks like we finally met in person Levi, I heard a lot about you from Mikasa. But I never thought you were able to try and kill one of my children. I wonder what Mikasa would say if she knew you were planing to lie to her face" guilt and sorrow started eating him 'she would be dissapointed and angry at same time' he thought
"Let's go Armin, our job here is done" he said and disappeared, Armin tched and disappeared right after him.
After that wether went back to normal, however people who died didn't returned back to life.
