Name's Annie Leonhard I'm 24 years old and I'm going to tell you my story when my frienemy was kidnapped

-8 years ago-

After Armin left I was lost in thoughts 'just who was that man? He did look older then me? But god he's so handsome' then I snapped 'wait HANDSOME!!' I yelled at myself 'oh no no no no I'm in love!!! Or am I? NO ANNIE YOU'RE NOTHING' then when I didn't expect hand layed on my shoulder

I quickly turn around and said fast "I did not thought I'm in love!" My father was just looking at me confused

'shit' I thought "um...okey so was someone here while I was away" he asked with smile "yeah some young or old but not that old- I mean young man was here for suit" I said "and..." He asked with voice witch said 'give me more details' I sighed "and he bought it" 'but looking at things he bought my heart too' I thought again and then my father grabbed me by hand and said with joy "was he rich or poor!" "Um..." I didn't know what to say

'he didn't seems like that kind of person' I though and said honestly "I couldn't tell father" he narrowed his eyes at me "what!! Why didn't you asked!!" Now he was yelling at me "WHY COULDN'T YOU BE USEFUL JUST FOR ONCE" well I had manners unlike him

"And what would that do! Do you want every person to look at me like I'm some gold digger!!" He stayed silence just like I thought

No he didn't wanted me to look like gold digger, he wants me to be one

"do you know why nobody is buying here" I asked him and he shook his head 'just like I thought' "they don't buy anything because they know you just care for money, you never cared about mom, or me, or even your new born baby" he let go of my hand and then look at me angrily "get lost you're no longer my daughter" he said point at door, I smile at him

"Good because I never was one" I said and left store without word

When I packed my school things and some cloths I left that house of hell and went to see apartman

When I did find one I went to find job cause I have to pay my rent every month

I stood in front one big company and thought 'Well Annie that's it now or never' I gained confidence and bravely entered the company

After one interview I exited from company and said with happily voice "yess!!!" I look around and saw every person is looking at me "um..don't mind me" after a long silence, everyone continued to do what they had stopped for a while 'that was embarrassing' and quickly run back to my new home

Next day I went to school when I passed next to Mikasa's house I stopped and looked at it

I remember that night like it was yesterday...and after two days Christa disappeared too, I know I said some things I shouldn't have but I though If I don't think about her, guilt won't eat me but I guess it still did...

After when you do something wrong it will return to you after all, I saw that when Jean was put in prison for crime

Okey it wasn't crime but it was wrong and I believe guilt and nightmares are still hunting him...

I continued to walk and I dump into Bartholt "oh sorry I didn't pay attention where I'm going" I said with blush on my face

Bertholt was my crush since junior school but I feel different now like I just love him as friend...

"Un could you maybe..on lunch break meet me under cherry blossom tree" he said shyly I smile at him "sure" I said and he smile "cool! See you later!" He then run off

I meet with Ymir in front school gates "glad to see you not gone too" she smirked "yeah" I said, on our way we were talking and I told her that I moved on from my adoptive father and start new life

"Wow girl that so cool!" She said with joy in her voice, I was about to say something but ring bell rang so I said see ya and walk to my class

After classes it was time for lunch break and I went under cherry tree as I promised, when I arrive there I saw Bertholt holding bouquet of roses

I walked to him and greed him "so what do you want to talk about" I asked and he start to sweet "Annie I-I have something important to tell you" I nodded and listened

"I love you!!" He said as my eyes widen "I loved you since the day I met you and..um..I really like you eyes...and everything about you" he said and then give me bouquet "so will you do me a honor and be my girlfriend" he asked with his soft voice but why I don't feel the same... Ever since I meet Armin I'm feeling like I'm being controlled by someone, like doll but better to be honest then hurt them later...

I look on the ground "I'm sorry but I don't see you that way" his expression fall to sad "I see you just as friend and brother..I'm really sorry Bertholt" he shook with his head and said "don't apologize I understand if you don't feel the same way" Then it was a awkward silence between us

"Well I have to go, see ya" I said and run to my next class

After school I noticed Bertholt is avoiding me but I didn't have time to think about that since I was with Ymir all day and I think she noticed too

"Did something happened between you and Bartholt" she asked and I nodded

We sat on nearest bunch "today he confess to me" I said and Ymir stared at me "omg and what did you say" she asked "I reject him since I didn't feel the same way" and now she looked confused "well that how's love works blah blah blah" I stopped listening when she said love

'why I don't feel the same way as him...did my feelings change...oh dame it that Armin guy really is on my mind lately ' I though

And then Ymir shook me "hey what wrong with you" she asked me and I snapped "n-nothing" I said and Ymir didn't believe me

"Girl you're not listening what I'm saying and tell me what's wrong because I won't leave you until you tell me" okey now this was real thing when Christa didn't tell her what's wrong she followed her everywhere

"Tell me!!!" When she yelled at me I yelled at her "FUCK I'm in love!!" Ymir was staring at me and then laugh

"You're just in love with some guy and you had me worried sick" she said and I had need to break her bones but I resist

"Who's the guy" she asked and end up telling her everything
