Mikasa woke up in dark cell, her arms were chined by brick wall
She pulled her arms trying to free herself from chains but no luck
She heard footsteps coming towards her direction, she looked at woman infront her
"Hello Mikasa" Kiyomi said "I apologize for kidnapping you like that, I didn't have other choice"
Mikasa just glared at her with pure hatred
"I'm sure you're wondering why you're here"
"obviously"
Kiyomi smiled "you see Mikasa since I'm already old I can't have kids anymore"
"And what does that have to do with me?"
"In order to continue with our bloodline we should at least have one inheritor, and that inheritor is you"
Mikasa rised eyebrow at queen of heaven "excuse me?"
"Let me tell you a little story, I had daughter once who became queen of heaven when she turned 18, as her mother I told her rules which she can't break. One of them forbade angel for falling in love with human...despite how many times I told her she shouldn't fell in love with human she ignored me and went against my wishes...and just like that she gave up her throne for some human"
She listened to her story silently
"Her name was Akira"
Mikasa gasped in disbelief "my mother..." She said silently
Kiyomi continued "so in order to prevent our family name from being tarnished I decided to take matter in my own hands"
Mikasa's body started shaking, suddenly her memory from that car accident fleshed through her head
"I had to cover my hands with blood just to stop her from shaming our kingdome, I had to kill her"
Mikasa felt her heart drop
'that accident...it wasn't accident...'
She looked at cold floor breathing heavily
'everything was planned out...my parent's death...'
She clenched her fist in anger
'they killed her...they killed them...'
She pulled chains with all her strength, scaring few guards which stood next to Kiyomi, however Kiyomi didn't move from her spot
Mikasa gritted her teeth in anger "HOW COULD YOU!! YOU KILLED HER!! YOU KILLED YOUR OWN DAUGHTER!!!" Mikasa yelled at her so called 'grandmother'
"The tattoo you have on your wrist is proof you're part of Azumabito family, your fate was sealed the day you were born" Kiyomi said in calm voice
Mikasa let tears fall down her face
"It's your destiny to continue our bloodline, you will marry one of most wealthy family and gave birth to baby boy" Kiyomi grinned "don't you understand Mikasa! You'll have better life here than with that monster"
"You're the monster..."
Mikasa whispered through gritting her teeth
"You took the one person's life I loved the most...you're worst then demons themselves"
Kiyomi bite her lip already getting irritated with her granddaughter
"I can't say I'm sorry for killing your parents because I don't regret anything" she said and turned her back to her
"You don't have choice, I'm doing what's best for you. I will let you rethink about this" Kiyomi started walking towards exit
"Even if you refuse, you'll still marry that man"
And with those last words she left, leaving Mikasa with angry tears falling down her face
