Revel

I dine with Desperation

I drink tea with Tyranny

I share my secrets with Sorrow

For she will hold them 'til tomorrow

I play my fiddle with Fury

But let him play the chorus

For the eggshells are straining

And it's no fun when he's boorish

Now the daughters of Desolation

Walk with necks bent low

Eyes retreating, sinking deep

I do not approach them, though

I tiptoe around Temptation

And avert my gaze from Greed

I hope they don't see my trepidation

I hope they don't sense my need

I dance the waltz with Woe

And sing folk with Serenity

I rub elbows with Envy

And discuss with Duplicity,

If she knows who loves,

And who despises me

And at long last, midnight strikes

But our fun has just begun

For a revel like this, Everyone likes

And I am Everyone
