I woke up to alarms going off. I shot up quickly at the sound of a long consecutive beep, eyes scrambling at the room around me to see Jack awake and pulling wires off himself. I gave a sigh of relief,
"Jack, you scared the hell out of me" He looked at me confused, having already pulled his breathing tube out. Doctors rushed into the room at the sounds but all of them stopped after seeing him up with the wires all detached. They laid him back down and put the wires on again but decided against putting the tube back in. He seemed so alert now, it just seemed pointless. I watched them do their checks before leaving, "You've been out for a couple days. How do you feel?"
"I feel... fine" He then seemed to look over me for the first time, "Have you been here all this time?" I smiled tiredly and nodded. His face seemed to take on more alarm and he sat up again, "Lucifer he-"
"Dead" I said. He looked at me, tilting his head,
"Did you-?" I shook my head,
"We can talk about this later. Let's just focus on getting back on your feet. Do you know how much he stole from you?" Jack shook his head,
"I feel very strange. I'm... cold" He furrowed his eyebrows, looking at me, "I've never been cold before" His eyebrows raised a little and I saw some real fear enter his head,
"It's ok" I said, "We can sort everything out once we get back to the bunker. Sam said he'd get a hold of my dad and drive down together but I still haven't heard from him" I yawned, "Or maybe he's here and I just haven't seen him" I shook my head, "I'm sure the doctors want to keep an eye on you for a day or two then we can check you out" He nodded, "Get some sleep" He slowly laid his head on the pillow behind him and closed his eyes. I tucked his arms under his blanket and pulled it up to his neck so he wouldn't be so cold. I then got up and left the room. I was just going to get some water but I was really wanting fresh air. I'd been in that room so much that the air had gotten stale in there and hospital windows don't open. I spotted Alex doing her job in another patients room while I sat out in the hallway next to the water dispenser. I sighed, taking a sip of water until Jody came over to me,
"You alright?" I nodded,
"Jack's awake now. Scared the crap out of me though" I looked up, "Any word on Sam or my dad?"
"They've been held up by Michael. I think your mother is coming to get you both instead" I nodded,
"When will that be?" Jody shrugged,
"Could be any time" I nodded with a yawn, "You should get some sleep. I've got room at mine until your mum comes. You're welcome to stay" I was contemplating that offer now. Jack was awake, he was safe. I stood up and was about to accept when I looked in Jack's room. I saw Dean standing there or to better put it, Michael. He wore a tailored suit with a cap, a little like how Kaleb had dressed but this was a grey suit, not brown. He was standing by Jack's bedside, just watching. I froze. I didn't know what to do. What do I do? Jody saw my eyes widen and turned to where I was looking, "Is that-"
"Yes" He looked up now and saw us staring. I've seen Dean smile before and this was not his smile. Something about it made me want to cringe. Michael beckoned me to enter the room and I saw Jody put a hand on her gun, "That won't do any difference" I said lowly, "Stay here"
"And let you go in alone?" I slowly walked to the door and when I got in, Michael hadn't moved, he was still watching me. I closed the door behind me but I felt the resistance of Jody putting her hand out. I stayed by the door, watching the distance he was from Jack,
"What do you want?" My shoulders had gone stiff and now my arms just hung like noodles on either side of me,
"I was going to ask you the same" He said. I furrowed my eyebrows,
