A little rant post because I've had bad experiences when coming out as polyamourous before and honestly just wish that I could have this so here we go ahaha maybe I cried a little while reading this back but you can't prove anything

Ranboo nervously wrung their hands, pacing back and forth in the living room with their tail tucked between their legs. Tubbo hung upside down on the couch, having been curiously following their movements with his eyes for the past five minutes.
"You good, bossman?" he finally asked after noticing Ranboo begin to anxiously pick at their scars. "And don't do that, you'll hurt yourself."
Ranboo flushed lightly with embarrassment and tucked their hands into their pockets.
"I'm- I'm just thinking about something," they responded vaguely. Tubbo swung himself upright and shuffled back on the couch, patting the space next to him.
"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked. Ranboo eyed him cautiously, then slowly nodded.
"I think we should, yeah."
Ranboo nervously shuffled over, claws scraping against the wooden floor that made a terrible noise and would probably leave marks, but that wasn't Tubbo's biggest problem at the moment. He had to make sure Ranboo was okay. The Ender-hybrid cautiously perched on the edge of the couch, their leg bouncing anxiously with their hands folded in their lap.
"So, what's up?" Tubbo asked, "Can you tell me?"
Ranboo nodded, "I'm trying."
Tubbo nodded in understanding and waited patiently for Ranboo to gather their words. Eventually, they spoke.
"Okay, so- You know, a little while back, I told you that- I told you how... Endermen love?" Ranboo stammered, only half making sense but Tubbo still understood.
"That you're polyamourous?"
Ranboo nodded, anxiously folding their hands over.
"I already said I was totally fine with that, Ranboo," Tubbo consoled, "I don't mind at all, I just don't want to get into the other relationships romantically myself, y'know?"
"Yeah... Yeah..." Ranboo muttered breathlessly, seemingly a little more calmed now.
"Was that it?"
Ranboo warbled in the back of their throat and shifted awkwardly.
"No, I- Uh- I met someone..."
Tubbo felt his chest pang, but he willed it away. This was okay. He'd get used to it. Ranboo seemed to noticed how Tubbo froze, and immediately began to panic.
"Wait- Tubbo, I'm sorry, I- I didn't mean to-"
"No, Boo, it's okay," Tubbo assured. "Do you still love me?"
"Of course I do! I just-"
"Then that's all that matters."
Tubbo smiled softly up at Ranboo, and they weakly smiled back. Tubbo's eyes returned to his hands in his lap.
"So, what was he like?" Tubbo prompted.
"Hm?"
"This 'someone' you met. Who swept the ol' Beloved off their feet, huh?" Tubbo smirked slightly as he caught Ranboo's blush in the corner of his eye.
"I um- Well- His name was... Would- Would loosely translate to... Rowan?" Ranboo told him, the smile never leaving their face, "he was taller than me, by quite a little bit, and that was nice for once. He had beautiful long, reddish-black hair in a braid over his shoulder, and it just looked so soft and shiny..." Ranboo trailed off, sadly reaching the limit of their short-term memory.
"He's an Enderman?"
"Yeah," Ranboo nodded, "A Nether-Native. I met him on my way back from a mansion hunt, and he wanted to explore the Overworld around his portal. We walked through the flower forest together, and he was so kind! He braided my hair like his and gave me a flower!"
Tubbo had yet to question the sunflower tucked into the top of Ranboo's neatly-fixed braid, but now, he guessed, he didn't need to. It was honestly sweet hearing Ranboo gush like this, and surprisingly, Tubbo found that he wasn't quite as bothered as he'd originally feared he'd be. He knew that Ranboo still loved him the same, even if they spoke almost just as fondly about someone else. They had a lot of love to give.
"He sounds lovely," Tubbo hummed genuinely, "Do you think you'll see him again?"
Ranboo shrugged.
"I have no idea, I just really hope I'll remember him," they frowned.
"You could write it down?" Tubbo suggested.
"I could, but it's just not the same," Ranboo sighed, "Although, I guess if I do ever see him again, forgetting would give me the chance to fall in love all over again..."
Tubbo laughed, "You're such a hopeless romantic, dude!" he teased.
Ranboo's shoulders shook with poorly-hidden laughter. "I know, I know. But it works with you!"
Tubbo stopped laughing and his eyes lit up.
"Huh?"
"The way your eyes catch the light, and sparkle when it hits them just right, but I can never tell what colour they really are, and the little dimple in your cheek when you smile," Ranboo listed, "They're the little things that I've noticed just now, and I don't remember them very often, but they're things I like to rediscover every single time I see them. I like to consistently see them for the first time, and fall in love with them all over again."
Tubbo felt the heat on his cheeks grow and hid his face in his hands.
"You dick! You're so stupid!" he yelled into his hands, but the affection was clear in his voice, as was his bashful grin.
Ranboo chuckled, "Yep, I really am! A stupid, cheesy, hopeless romantic!"
Tubbo snorted and butted Ranboo hard in the side with his horns. Ranboo winced slightly, but ignored the pain, since they knew that this was just their husband's way of communicating the most important thing. Ranboo vwooped and curled their tail around Tubbo's waist, responding the same thing in their own way.
I love you.
