Chapter - 15

Mia's POV:
Well today is volley ball try outs. I really wanna join a different club but I wanna show Madison that she's not the best at everything. Whenever she sees me in the corridors, or hallways as they say here, she stabs me with her viscous looks of hell. I've never had an enemy so I don't know how to handle stuff between us an-

"Sooo are you readyyy!" Kaylee said while grabbing my arm and jumping around.
"Well yeah, I am sooo ready!". Since summer knows everything about volleyball shes been teaching me all the positions and rules and stuff.
"Where's Summer, isn't she meant to be trying out with you?"
"Yeah, she's in the locker room getting ready". I replied.

Summer was very slow at getting ready and was always late for everything. Surprisingly, she came jogging out towards Kaylee and I.
"Wow, that was quick Summer" Kaylee said with raised eyebrows.
"Yeah, I know! I'm so ready for this, I think I'm getting a bit too excited" she said rubbing her hands together and analysing everyone who was already on the court.
"Calm down, Summer" I said, giggling at her facial expressions.
"Isn't that Madison?" I said, looking over the other side of the court. 
"Yeppp" Kaylee said while Summer completely ignored me and probably didn't even hear what I said cause she's to focused on winning and planning a tac-tic.
"Is she flirting with the gym teacher!?" I said, watching her twist her hair through her fingers and adjusting her skirt.
"Yeahhh, she always flirts with him", Summer said "and with every other boy in the entire school" she finished.
"Yeah, she thinks if she flirts with them then she'll get her own way" Kaylee added.
"But it never works on Mr. Harris cause he knows what she's up to" Summer said
"But also cause he's a teacher, Summer!?" Kaylee added. I giggled.
"Oh, of course," she said "but if I was he's age I think that I wou-"
The whistle blew and it was time for try outs. As I was walking on the court someone grabbed my wrist and before I saw who it was, they pulled me into a tight hug. I knew from the scent that it was Matthew. Oh my goshhhhh he smells amazing! I think I could just die right about now.
"Hey, good luck out there" he said, breaking the hug.
"Thanks, haha!" I said "How did you know try outs were today?" I asked.
"Kaylee told me to come along and watch it" he said but I stopped listening and looked at Kaylee sitting up on the benches. She saw us and gave me a little smirk and a wink. Oh my God, I think I'm melting. The good kind of melting.
"So yeah, I'm gonna be sitting up there with Kaylee and I'm gonna be watching, so go, break a leg" he said while giving me a wink.
I couldn't help but blush. As I was walking towards the game all I could think about was Matthew watching me play Volleyball for the first time in my life. Oh gosh. What if I mess up? He's gonna think I'm a joke. Ahh. My mind starts thinking of the worst that could happen so I tell it to 'Shut-up and focus' but I think I say it out loud as these two girls are now glaring at me like I'm some sort of psycho maniac.

We got into teams of four and Me, Summer and two other girls (the ones that heard me say 'shut-up and focus' to myself...) were against Madison and her 2 'wannabe friends' and some other girl that I've only seen once around school.

The game started off so well and I scored loads of points. I think that Mr. Harris was very impressed and to be honest, I was as well. I could see Madison's face through the net and she looked so jealous, it was unreal.

For a second, I looked up at Matthew and Kaylee and they started waving at me like two crazy people so I waved back but as I was turning back to the game everything turned black. My head started spinning and throbbing like crazy. I could hear people's voices but I couldn't understand what they were saying because it was all muffled. I could hear laughter and footsteps running towards my head. I felt cold and uncomfortable. Was I laying on the floor? What was I doing? Why does my head hurt? I couldn't move a muscle. It was like someone was holding me but I couldn't tell who but it was defiantly a boy...
