Y/N POV
The next morning I sat up and rubbed my eyes, yawning. I opened them and saw Herobrine standing in the doorway.
"Gah! What the heck are you doing here!? Why are you just standing there!?" I yelled, shocked.
"Did you know you sleep talk?" Herobrine asked, walking over to me.
"Wh-what!? How long have you been standing?" I asked.
"Only for like... Maybe a half hour. Plus, I thought you would have been up sooner." He said, stopping at the end of the bed.
I frowned and got up, walking over to him.
"You realize us players don't wake up at like, 5am everyday." I muttered, folding my arms.
"Y/N... It's noon." He said, pointing to the clock.
I turned my head and the clock read 12:05pm.
"Oh..." I mumbled.
"Would you like to get ready and train? Since you asked yesterday?" Herobrine asked, smiling.
Oh he really was up for my offer? I thought maybe he was joking about it.
"Oh ok. Sure. I'll meet you in the kitchen, if that's ok." I said.
He nodded and disappeared. After I got dressed and everything else, I ran down into the kitchen.
"You sure you aren't busy? I just don't wanna take up any time of yours, ya know." I said, walking over to Herobrine.
"I'm positive, Y/N. Plus, the only thing that I really should be doing right now is paper work but... I get so bored of it and need a break. And you're a perfect excuse." He said, chuckling.
"You sure you aren't playing favorites or something? I mean, why me out of all people? Don't you have like 800 other prisoners?" I asked, smirking.
"800? Not even close. I'd say 50 player's at most. And for the record, they are people who have stolen, tried to kill me, or have dirt on me and need to be killed. Or they have information too. Such as Feather." Herobrine explained.
I shuddered. Didn't he kill Feather? What was the blood from? I saw Herobrine grin at my thought. I just smiled nervously, trying to clear my head.
"Now. Let's head to the arena and start." He said, walking past me.
Once we got to the arena, we got to pick out some weapons. And let me tell you, his weapons were so fricking cool. Things I've never seen before.
"Wow." I said in complete shock.
"Pick anything you'd like Y/N." He said.
I saw this weird red curved sword with a gold handle. I grabbed it and looked at it. This was the one. I turned to face Herobrine and smirked.
"I think I found myself a winner." I said, tossing the sword from hand to hand.
"Just letting you know, nothing beats my obsidian sword. But, it's not just the sword. It's the handler. Now, show me what you got, Y/N." Herobrine said.
I held my sword firm and stared Herobrine down. He smirked. Why does he always gotta do that? Just fight for the love. I swung at him but he ducked and knocked my legs out from under me, making me land on my ass. He burst into laughter and I frowned.
"You need to not go straight for the head in every fight. It's a very common move." Herobrine explained.
"Haha. No shit sherlock." I said, sarcastically.
I got up, dusting my self up. I then swung at his side but he teleported behind me, putting his sword against my throat.
"Ugh! This isn't fair! You have powers!" I complained.
He chuckled, releasing me.
"Exactly. So training with someone who has them will increase your skills. Especially when fighting someone without powers." He said.
I then took a deep breath and turned to face him. His smile only grew wider, revealing his sharp fangs. I swug at him, our swords clashing together. I continued to swing, but though he blocked me, I still was getting the hang of it. After a while he swung at me and I dodged it, knocking him down and pinning him to the ground, sword against his throat. He looked at me, impressed.
"Good job Y/N. You're getting the hang of it." He said.
I allowed him to sit up.
"Thanks. I learn quick." I said, smirking.
"But do you?" He asked.
I looked at him confused. Just then he grabbed me and rolled over, pinning me, his obsidian sword against my throat. I looked at him shocked. He chuckled darkly and I freaked out. He got up and put out a hand to help me. I was still freaking out slightly so I sat up and looked down.
"Something wrong, Y/N?" Herobrine asked.
"It's... Nothing." I muttered.
"Did I frighten you?" He asked, kneeling down in front me.
"N-no... Of course not." I said, refusing to look at him.
He sighed.
"I'm sorry, Y/N. You don't need to lie to me. I understand. I got carried away. I didn't mean to scare you. I wasn't actually gonna kill you, ya know that, right?" He explained.
"I know... I just... I never thought I'd ever come face to face with you... And I still kinda get freaked out easily. I don't know if your lying to me and if you were using this to kill me. Or something. I don't know..." I muttered, looking over at him.
He looked kinda hurt at my words.
"I... Understand." He said, standing up.
"I didn't mean it like that. I don't think you're a monster at all. I just... All the stories I've ever heard... I know I shouldn't believe them. I'm sorry, Herobrine." I stuttered.
I stood up. He turned his head away.
"Herobrine... I didn't mean that. I didn't mean to get scared. I... I just did. And I'm sorry if that hurts you." I said.
"I'm used to it. And it's ok. I'm not hurt. I just don't understand why you don't believe me. I'm not going to kill or hurt you, Y/N. I never planned on it." He said.
I felt bad for him. I felt guilty too. I didn't know what to do. I have horrible communication skills due to the fact I've lived alone most of my life. And of course, my first instinct was to hug him. He went stiff and dropped his sword in shock.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Um... Apologizing." I muttered, still basically clinging to him.
He relaxed and eventually hugged me back. I felt so embarrassed. And you know damn well I'm probably blushing my fricking head off. After what seemed to be forever, I let go and backed up. I smiled nervously. He just smiled as well.
"So... Continuing?" I asked, trying to get rid of the awkward silence.
He nodded.(1139 words)
