Chapter 8: Waiting

Y/N POV

// Time Skip 3 Day's //

TY thought it'd be a good idea if we waited for Herobrine to come to the overworld. He thinks I'll have more of an advantage here, other than the nether. And while we wait for him, Scarlet decided to try and teach me a few things about Herobrine. Such as his powers. And to be honest, with how much power this dude has, you would think he could kick his brothers ass with no problem. But apparently, since Notch is Life and Creation, he is more powerful when it comes to a 1v1 battle.
"So, Y/N. Why did you run away from home?" Scarlet asked.
"My parents didn't like the fact I'd rather be an assassin other than a princess." I said.
"Oh? That's it?" She said, confused.
"Yup." I muttered.
"How was the battle between you and Herobrine? I never really thought to ask about that up until now." Scarlet asked.
"Um... A little terrifying due to the fact he knew I was there even being invisible. I managed to get a few hits actually. He on the other hand didn't really do any damage. But he was pissed. Especially when I got him in the back with my sword." I explained, feeling a little proud of myself.
"Yeah. I told TY to tell you but he must have forgot. Invisibility potions don't work on him." Scarlet said.
"TY must really hate him." I said.
"We all do. He's been ruining things forever." Scarlet said.
I honestly didn't see much of the reason to hate him. Sure he detroys things and stuff but so do other players and hackers. So in the end, you can't really get rid of destruction. Even if Herobrine was non-existent, there would be some other asshole causing trouble.
"Do you miss your parents?" Scarlet asked.
I looked at her somewhat confused. I then looked down and let out a quiet sigh.
"I know this sounds harsh... But no. I hate them. I hated how they expected so much from me. I didn't like the royalty life at all. I hated constant meetings or royal events. I just wanted to be free." I explained.
"I understand. Not everyone is fit for royalty." Scarlet said.
"Hey, so I was reading this book called Glitches Of Minecraft and I noticed the pages in the back were ripped out. Do you know why?" I asked.
"No, actually. That's strange to be honest. Did you get it from our library?" Scarlet asked.
I nodded.
"Weird." She muttered.
"Do you think TY did it?" I asked.
"No. I mean why would he?" She asked.
Scarlet had a point.
"Oh well. I'm hungry, wanna head to the dining hall?" I asked.
"Race ya there." Scarlet said, smirking.
We both stood up and ran. But in the end, I lost.
"I win." Scarlet said, snickering.
"I'm slow." I muttered.
"I'd work on that. Just in case you need escape from white eyes." Scarlet said.
I laughed a little.
"Ok I'll do that. But for now, I need something sweet." I said, looking through all the different types of food.
"Same." Scarlet said, laughing.

// Time Skip //

After we ate we headed back towards the meeting room. Just then Scarlet smiled.
"I forgot but, I had one of the black smiths here make you new armor. You gotta try it on!" She said, grabbing my hand and dragging me down the hall.
We ran down a set of stairs and turned right. She then swung open 2 large iron doors.
"Heya Scar. What's up? Also I see you brought Y/N." A man said, walking up to us.
He had dark blue eyes and black hair. He looked kinda young too.
"Y/N, meet Zero. He is an expert at creating new armor." Scarlet said.
"Nice to meet you Zero." I said, smiling.
"Nice to meet you too. Your armor should be down that hall and to the left. Scarlet knows where." Zero said.
Scarlet, once again, grabbed my hand and dragged me down the hall. She then stopped and pointed at it.
"You'll be a total badass wearing it! Ahh! You have to try it on!" Scarlet said, excitedly.
As I looked at the armor, I was in shock. It was made up of netherite and diamond. It had spikes on the shoulders and elbows. The hand part looked like claws. It had a awesome cape also. And the helmet had 2 ear looking spikes.
"Holy crap this looks amazing!" I said, smiling.
"And the hands are like claws! You can actually use them as weapons!" Scarlet said.
"I've gotta try it on!" I said.
"Good to know you like it. There is a changing room at the end of the hall." Zero said, walking up to us.
I nodded.

Herobrine's POV

Who was that girl? Why did she look so familiar for some reason? I mean I don't get out a lot, but she looked so familiar.
"Sir, is everything alright?" A servant said, walking up to me.
"I'm fine. Just confused. That girl who was here looked so familiar. As if I've seen her somewhere before." I said.
"Strange. But, the Enderdragon is here. She's a bit upset. And very impatient. She would like you to meet her in the throne room soon." The servant said.
"Ugh... Selena is strarting to get on my nerves. Why is she here now? Why did you let her in?" I asked, frowning.
"Well, apparently the players pesturing her and she wanted you to send some of your nether troops over there to get them to leave." The servant muttered.
I stood up and walked out of the room.
"She's a dragon and has tons of endermen. Can't she for once in her pathetic lifetime figure it out herself? I have better things to do." I complained.
I opened the throne room doors and saw Selena standing there, in her humanish form, angry.
"About time, nether king." She snarled.
"Don't even complain, Selena." I said.
"I need some of your troops." She growled.
"No. I have my own problems. Plus, you're a dragon. And you have an endless supply of endermen." I said, sitting down.
"Excuse me!? What did you just say!?" She shouted, flaring her wings in anger.
"You heard me! Now get out of here!" I yelled, pointing to the door.
She let out a huff before nodding and turning to leave. As soon as she was gone, I let out a sigh of relief.

Y/N POV

After I put on the armor, I walked over to Scarlet and Zero. They opened there eyes and looked shocked.
"So? What do you think?" I asked.
"It looks awesome!" Scarlet yelled, smiling.
"I'm honestly shocked. It looks even better on an actual person." Zero said.
I smiled.
