An Unexpected Couple

15. Vacation

Bennett's perspective

Our vacation has started and we started planning how this would play out.

"Lumine, do you have any ideas?" I ask.

"Hmm.. How about we start by going to my house to have lunch, and then we go to a small shops and have a shopping spree! And then after that, we go and take a swim! It's fine if we swim late at night and don't worry if you hit your head on the tiles, there are lights in the pool."

"That sounds like a good plan! Razor, Amber, are you down?"

"Yep!" Amber replys.

Razor agrees by humming.

We quickly head to Lumine's house, it was a 5 hour drive and we had to switch drivers every 1 hour. I was mostly the one driving though because I always get 10 or 30 minutes more of driving.

When we arrived I was exhausted, and after we ate lunch I headed straight to the guest bedroom, there were 2 bunkbeds on each side of the room and the beds were really comfortable.

Razor knocked on the door and headed inside.

"Hey Bennett, how are you feeling?"

"I'm good Razor"

"Here, I brought you a glass of water"

"Thank you Razor, I'm sorry that I didn't get to really do much yet, I was just really tired from all the driving. Ehe.."

"It's fine Bennett! I'm completely ok with it, if you dont get rest then you wont enjoy this vacation!"

I smiled as I sit up straight facing Razor. We had long conversations until I finally stood up and went outside the bedroom.

I saw Lumine and Amber bathing in the sun and who I didn't notice was that Albedo, Kaeya, Venti, and Xiao were here.

"When did they get here?" I ask myself in confusion.

"Ah! Bennett! You're awake!"
Venti called out.

"Razor, when did they get here?" I ask.

"They were here a few hours ago, I didn't expect them to come here too."

I just knew that this was going to be a great vacation.

We went to the small shops around Lumine's house and had a budget of $5000.00 each.

"Yay! Xiao what are you going to buy?~" Venti asked in a very cheery voice.

"I might just buy a jacket and a necklace, you never know I might buy more stuff than you think."

"Hmmm, I'm going to buy lots of over-sized clothing"

"Buy what you want Venti, just make sure it's easy for me."

"What do you mean by that?!"

"Make it easy for me to wash!"

Everyone laughed as we walk to the small shops.

We all split into two groups.

"Hey Razor" I ask.

"Hm?"

"What shop should we go to first?"

"How about a clothing store?"

"Sure!"

We head to the clothing store and bought a few clothes. Some were shirts some were pants and some were hats.

After the clothing store, we went to a miscellaneous shop where I found a wolf plush, I bought two, one for me and one for Razor, he loved it.

"Hey Razor look over there!"

"What is it Bennett?"

"Those bracelets, they look nice."

"Do you want to buy them?"

"Sure! It can be a couple bracelet for the both of us!"

Razor blushed as a smile came after, our budget was still a lot so we went to more shops until we were left with $200.00 .

Once we all meet up at Lumine's house, I saw Lumine and Amber carrying the most stuff, while Kaeya and Albedo had the least.

"Hey guys! Lets have a showcase of what we bought!" Lumine said.

"Sure! Me and Xiao can go first." Venti replied back.

They had shirts, gloves, jeans, necklaces, and jackets.

Albedo and Kaeya had shirts, hair ties, shoes, and notebooks.

Lumine and Amber got shirts, shorts, hats, shoes, head bands, hair ties, plushies, and makeup.

While me and Razor got shirts, pants, bracelets, plushies, hats, and waterbottles.

We took a rest till evening and Xiao and Venti were getting ready to get in the pool.

"Xiao! Lets have a splashing contest!" Venti suggested.

"I'm not in the mood for a splashing competition Venti, I just want to swim."

"Aww, ok"

After we rested, we headed in the pool and had a lot of fun, I sometimes accidentally hit someone while I'm swimming, since I didn't have goggles.

"Ow- I'm sorry-"

"It's ok Bennett" Razor replied.

Razor kissed my forehead as we continue to swim.

It was getting late and me and Razor got out the pool early.

I took a shower and headed to bed.

"Bennett I wanted the bottom bunk"

"Aw, ok"

I was climbing the ladder as Razor just suddenly said.

"What a nice view.."

"Razor! Stop being a creep!" I said in an angry tone.

"Hahaha! I'm kidding, I'm kidding! You can head to bed now."

"Hmph!"

I went to bed all flustered until I fell asleep. This day was really fun, and I'm excited about what we're going to do tomorrow.
